Anybody have this? Just got one from the consignment store and I don't see a tag with care instructions. How do you dry it after washing? Hang it or tumble in dryer? Don't want it to shrink since it's 100% cotton... Though if it's used I guess it alread had a chance to shrink...
Do not dry any items that still have stains. Hang to dry or lay flat. Steam as needed.
mine are about to go through the third kid and i've always thrown them in the washer and dryer with all the other LO clothes. they've stayed in fine shape.
Would you recommend these? I thought they might be better for summer but the amazon review have me nervous that they are not durable. I love the normal AA swaddles and we use them pretty much constantly at home for various things.
Well I put it in the dryer on LOW and kept checking every few minutes and it dried out fine, no shrinkage or anything. So from now on dryer it is.
Would I recommend it - the concept seems good. They are cotton so seems like they would be good for summer. I got the 4 ply one, didn't realize there are different thicknesses, so maybe it is more durable than the 1 ply one, but it's a bit heavier. Up till now I've been using the thin microfleece ones (previously used that with my DD 1 and liked it too ) but with summer coming and baby wearing a cranial band for the next several weeks I was starting to obsess about heat... We live in the South. So far it seems ok BUT for some reason the 2 naps I put her in it she had a really hard time falling asleep and screamed a lot more compared to her other sleep sacks...maybe because the feeling of the fabric is different?.... Not sure, but will keep trying. I would say try to get a used one to see if you and baby will like it. New they tend to be pricey...at least for my taste.
