Please direct me if this has been started, but I don't see it yet!
I had my 34 week routine check today. Found out I passed my strep b test that she had me take at 32 weeks just because DS was early, and found out baby is measuring ahead as per my 33 week ultrasound however that's via ultrasound estimation, everything else looks great! She could feel it head down but still sitting high today so not expecting anything crazy to happen soon, but only baby knows from here!
Oh and I booked all my weekly appointments starting next month so that's pretty crazy to do! Things are really real now
Ultrasound this morning went really well! Nugget's mass overall got smaller over the weekend! I got the 1st shot (of round 5) of beta yesterday, and my doc thinks that may have helped to shrink the solid portion of the mass! If the 2nd shot (which I got about an hour ago) helps to at least maintain this thing at the size it is, then I'll be happy!
My leaking has remained an on again off again type thing, and the bout of bleeding I had seems to have subsided, so overall things from here are going well.
Um.... so at 33w2d I am already 1.5 cm dilated at 70% effaced. Baby is head down and low and weighs an estimated six pounds already. I am on "modified rest" meaning take it easy for the next two weeks, and then all bets are off. Um, ya'll, I think I'm going to be having a May baby.

I had my 32w growth ultrasound yesterday. Little dude had his face smashed against my placenta the whole time so no clear pictures of his face.
They told me that he's already 4lbs 13oz. Then the dr and I talked about having a 9lb baby. He's still measuring close to two weeks ahead sooo I'm planning to end my school year a little early. The last day for teachers in my county is June 16 and my due date isn't until June 25. But if he's measuring ahead and I'm already starting to be miserable now I just want time to myself where I'm not driving 40-90min to/from work and spending all day on my feet. So mentally I'm preparing myself to be finished teaching June 9. My OB said they'd write me out as soon as I said the word. I just don't have the accumulated leave to take off more time.
Had our 32 week appt yesterday. Dr. did some measuring via her hands and thinks we're in for an 8 lb baby (which is great, I was mentally preparing for a 10+ lbs... we don't make small babies in my family). I'll see her again at 36 weeks and we'll do the ultrasound and strep b test and then I see her about every 2 weeks until baby. Overall she says everything looks great - heartbeat is strong for Kiddo, and my BP and weight are good and on track. Which is really nice to hear, I'd convinced myself something was going to be wrong.
I asked her how late she'll let me go before inducing - she said we'd talk about that June 24 (3 days after my EDD), but she's not worried about it. Sometimes I worry my doctor and I are both a little too relaxed and "go with the flow" - my internal planner is starting to freak out a bit.

Oh wow! Hope modified goes quickly for you and your LO stays put for a bit!
bruunk, my first pregnancy was like that and it was great. So easy going and my doc was pretty low key. She had a similar answer about due date. Hang in there and enjoy the calm and easy going appointments!

34 week appt today. Baby's HR 3rd 142. Scheduled my next 4 appts (36,37,38, and 39 weeks). Will have GBS test and check at my next appt. OB is hoping to confirm baby head down (as she still keeps flipping during the day at this point). Sadly she did not OK my beach getaway Mother's Day weekend but that's ok, we'll still do something fun local.
Had my 34 week today. Peanut has flipped so is head down but a bit skewed to my right side. So her buttocks are up against my left rib cage - funny because that's where I've been patting when I talk to her told the doc that my bet is she is going to be 8lb 4oz, doc told me that she agrees - probably around 8.5lb. GBS at next appt. Got my tdap today. Next appt at 36 weeks then weekly. Getting real quickly!
Had a routine appointment Monday Evening, NO Ultrasound, will have one at 36 weeks. Everything looks good, minus the fact that my right left is constantly getting more swollen then my left leg. Doctor wanted me to have an ultrasound of my leg just to rule out the possibility of a blood clot. Well I just got the call from the Doctors office and I do not have a clot. My swelling is 100% normal for being 34 weeks 2 days pregnant and to just try and keep my feet up as much as possible! I have my next 3 appointments Scheduled 36 weeks, 37 and 38. Because I had Strep Part B at my 12 week appointment they will not do an exam until I am 39 weeks. They do not want to take the chance of having an outbreak. But did say as soon as I go into Labor they will start me on an IV Antibiotics so that it does not get transferred to the baby. Cant believe she could be here so soon!!

Had a doctors appt today for 31 (and a half) weeks, and my OB said everything is looking great. The only possible concern was that there were white blood cells in my urine, so it's being sent to the lab for testing, as I don't have any symptoms of a UTI. But he didn't seem at all worried about it. We discussed some birth preferences, and he is supportive of my choices to try med-free and labor the way I want, so I'm thankful for that. I'll go back in 2 weeks for the next appt, and then will hopefully be having another ultrasound at 36 weeks to look at size and position.

Had my 34 week appointment this morning. Dr. said everything looks and sounds great, measuring exactly 34 weeks. She said she thinks that the baby is already head down and she will confirm that with the first vaginal check. Already made my last 2 weeks apt for 36 weeks and my first weekly appointment. She informed me that at this point, if for any reason labor started they wouldn't stop it. EEK! I get my strep B next time too.
I had my 35 week appointment today. They gave me my prenatal records to carry around every where with me just in case I go into early labour.
Measuring well and my blood pressure is good. Baby's heart rate is also good.
if I go into labour before my scheduled repeat c/s, the doctor said that they will put me in for immediate c/s. They will not try to delay labour or make me labour in any way.
4 weeks tomorrow until I meet this LO unless of course they decide to come early.
trixi282 I'm trying so hard to keep the low key, go with it attitude. I know it will help in labor as well! I keep reminding myself everything is so simple because nothing is wrong, so be happy!
It's so real to hear that so many doctors wouldn't stop you ladies if you went into labor now! We are really getting close.

My appointments are also always super quick.
I had my 32 week appointment today and baby is still breech. I gained 5 lbs in 2 weeks, which means a total of 30 pounds which I'm bummed about. The midwife said to try sticking to a low glycemic diet.
She also recommended trying a chiropractor or acupuncturist to flip the baby. Do you guys have a preference for one or the other??
At my 30 week the doctor apparently forgot to tell me to Schedule the growth scan so now I have to do that this week.
Had an appointment today (32 weeks). Everything looks good, measuring right on track and Extra is head down. My BP was good enough that my OB let me cancel next weeks appointment. She had me schedule weekly appointments two weeks ago because my BP was slowly on the rise and she was concerned with the way my feet and ankles were swelling. 2 weeks in a row with a normal blood pressure. I was up 2 pounds this week for a total of 25 (not as bad as it could be but more than I was hoping for at this point)
I had my 34 week check up this morning. Weight gain was awesome. BP was higher than normal for me, but still within safe/normal zone. I had no protein in my urine and no swelling, so the dr is not concerned and chalking it up to anxiety and regular third tri bp increase. For some reason, I was very nervous before this appointment. I think my anxiety increases the closer I get to the due date. Anyone else???
Baby's heart rate was good. When she first checked positioning and heart rate, baby was oblique , but as she was talking, we saw baby switch positions to head down (confirmed again through Doppler and physical exam). We both got a kick out of how active she is!
Next check up in 2 weeks at 36 weeks with an ultrasound to confirm baby's position. If baby is not head down at 37 weeks, she suggested an ECV. If the baby is still not in a good position, then we will schedule a c- section for 39 weeks. The dr thinks she will be and remain head down, but I am still going to do the "Spinning Baby" positions and lots of prayers.
holliberry28, From what I've heard, either are good options. I don't think I'm going to go that route though. Have you looked at /"Spinning Baby" positions? I've been doing those and bouncing on an exercise ball with my legs lowered and apart. Did your dr mention an ECV at 37 weeks?
I had my first NST this afternoon, and jujube passed just fine. However, my BP is starting to get a little ugly (150/100 ew), so the midwives have me coming in not just for weekly NSTs, but also BP checks. @littlechivette, I'm right with you now on the twice weekly appointments and the BP watch. I'm gonna bring my toothbrush next week and just move into the damn office already .
There's no talk of early delivery yet, but the midwives are hauling in an OB to consult now. I've also been officially "grounded" and put on light duty at work. Had to do a bunch of labs for pre-eclampsia work-up today, too. Hoping things chill out a little - too much damn excitement. Relieved that LO still seems to be just fine, though. Praying he stays just peachy, and feeling a little angry at my body for "malfunctioning" yet again.

32w appt today. nothing earth shattering other than I found out that standard of care at my hospital is delayed clamping for 2 min and there should still be enough cord blood to publicly donate. Winner!
I go back in 12 days for my next appt, but it'll be with the doc with the worst bedside manner in the practice. oh well.
I had my 32 week yesterday at 32w1d. Baby was measuring 33, but she didn't tell me which way she was facing. She didn't try to guess. ("It really doesn't matter at this point.") I get that... but I totally wanted to know.
I also found out my OB is leaving the practice/moving out of the area the week I'm due. I absolutely adore her, so I'm super bummed.
For those of you just getting your TDAP shot, just FYI: I had bruising, swelling, redness, and itching for about two weeks after. The advice nurse + all of the symptom/disclosure papers said it might happen "for a few days." Anyway, OB confirmed yesterday that there's nothing to worry about--totally normal to have an extended reaction like that. She said the tetanus part of it sometimes triggers that kind of response. So, just a heads-up in case anyone has a minor SS freakout like I did.

They did mention if I wanted one at 37 weeks. I tried to do one of those spinning babies inversions yesterday and all it left me with was a headache! Are you also breech and planning a ecv?

Last ultrasound at 32 weeks, she was breech and transverse all in the course of one visit. Today at my 34 week dr check up, she was oblique and then switched to head down, so she is definitely still on the move. If she is not head down at the position check ultrasound at 36 weeks, I might try the ECV.
32 week appt. with U/S at 32+3. Baby is still big (though now measuring 2 weeks ahead instead of 3), I've stopped losing weight, blood pressure was slightly better not that it's been BAD (probably because she wasn't asking medical questions while taking my BP for once.) Baby was transverse, but they weren't concerned yet. I'm vaguely freaked out about it, though. DS was a lot more active in utero, and he stayed in the same position from 32 weeks on.
I feel like I have a million questions to ask my OB at my 32 week appointment tomorrow. After my major SS moment yesterday thinking I was having all these BH's really close together, that resulted in an L&D trip that showed zero contractions and a super fun internal exam at the request of my on-call OB (which showed no dilation)- I would love to know what actual BH's feel like because I dont think I was even having them (well, I think I had like 3 throughout the whole day).
I haven't talked to him about how long he'll let me go over my due date, when he would induce, when he would opt for a c-section, etc. I also want to know how baby is positioned since apparently every person on this board knows except me! Luckily I get to skip the super fun Strep B test since I already had a GBS related UTI earlier in my pregnancy.
I tend to get them if I have an overly full bladder. Not necessarily recommending you subject yourself to that, but if you *really* want to feel them, might be worth a try.
Also, at least for me, sex triggers them. At this point, though, I'm not sure whether I can say that's more or less comfortable than holding your pee for hours.

Had my steroid injections in both wrists for the raging carpal tunnel today. Hands were nice and numb for a couple hours, but now that the numbing agent has worn off, I'm back to baseline-ish. Apparently takes a couple days to see the results apparently, you know the "it gets worse before it gets better" type of situation. Keep ya posted, even though it doesn't seem like anyone else in June experiencing this (boy it would be nice to commiserate with someone!)
32 week appointment today. My weight was up a little high, but the midwife thought it might be water retention, my legs were really swollen for some reason... Also, I had white blood cells in my urine sample? Has anyone else had this? She asked if I had any symptoms of an infection down there, but I don't and am now snowflaking about why. Sigh...
