Regarding smoking in the work place- if you came in with another compound with those chemicals that put off smoke, employees would be forced to gown up (as it can be transferred through clothing) and have to have a respirator on in order to work in the area where that was being used.
But yeah, let's let people freely smoke in all workplaces without any of that, most of whom will be in an enclosed area with poor/minimal ventilation.

Really? Do you go to an East coast beach? Maybe that makes a difference. On the west coast the water is so cold nearly year round most surfers will pee in their wet suits to warm up, so it is kind of a given that you pee in the ocean. No one does it with the bootie wet suits though. Boot juice is a thing. A very nasty thing.

Thanks to my dad smoking, the vast majority of his grandchildren have some kind of breathing issue. His youngest child had major issues as a child as well. He currently can't walk more than 2 steps without his oxygen levels dipping into the 70's.
So fuck off with your personal choice because it is a danger to everyone. Exposing people to known carcinogens that cause lung cancer- yeah, there's a good topic for this week assholes.
Maybe UO: I think business owners should get to decide whether or not smoking is allowed in their places of business instead of laws being made for them.

Clearly you have some anger regarding cigarettes. I'm sorry that your dad chose to smoke around his children--not cool.
If you don't like cigarette smoke, get a job at a school or library or something. Don't get a job at a bar, casino, or strip club that allows smoking. It's pretty simple.
