XP: Amnion Chorion Separation

Backstory: I had a prophylactic cerclage placed on Wednesday. I was around 2.6 with no funneling. The procedure went smoothly and I was discharged the same day. I had very little discharge but some spotting (all normal).
Last night I got home from an event and had several gushes of clear fluid. I also had more severe pain that was concerning but when I laid down it went away. While wiping I had some red blood but not enough to freak out. My plan was to just call in the AM. This morning I had more gushes (though smaller in volume) that were tinged with red. I called and was asked to come in.
XP from BMB:
Unfortunately the u/s revealed an amnion chorion separation located near the cervix. They don't know for sure if it was caused by the cerclage procedure (most likely) or if it is due to just not being fully fused yet (apparently doesn't fully fuse until after 14 weeks). I was sent home with little information other than to take it easy and come back for a recheck on Wednesday. I'm trying to stay away from Dr. Google but what I have read thus far isn't great - it can resolve itself, end in miscarriage, or be an indicator for chromosomal abnormalities. The doctor gave me zero reassurance on which direction it would go.
Anyone know anything related to this? Seems pretty rare and obscure. I'm very scared and of course frustrated that I have no information.
TIA!
