All of you are amazing! I'm so glad to know you all. Thank you for being here!
I got all of my Social Security paperwork done today! Hopefully they don't surprise me with more and I get approved. I also found out the family I've babysat for for almost six years wants me to nanny for them again. I've had their daughter since she was 2 and I love her like she's my own. They pay cash, so it will help us so much and I don't have to report it because if I do, I'll definitely get denied for SS.

I am 4lb minus my prepreg weight. I still have a lot of work to do since I'm being vain about my wedding, but I've been getting a lot of compliments and people say I look better than I did before. Which I think I do too ... the result of taking care of myself better during preg and after!
I also think I do a pretty ok job with toting LO around. I was really nervous at first and felt awkward, but now it feels a lot more natural and I also DGAF about what other people are thinking. I used to be like 'but OMG what if he starts crying' and now if he cries I just deal with it.
I'm just really proud of myself for taking care of LO by myself day in and day out ever since H went back to work 2 weeks PP. I think I've adjusted fairly well to my whole life changing and this whole sleep deprivation thing.
Holy cow!!! The four pounds in the negative thing is amazing!!!! I'm still (gulp) like 30lbs from my pre pregnancy weight. Went from runner to bedrest, but really that's just an excuse. Good for you!!!!!!!
Almost have the hang of this carry! It has a slipknot so I can lower DS for nursing.
I was walking with another mom last week and I think she had the same one. She has a todler and a feb baby so the baby hangs out in that alot so she can chase the todler. She was was a nursing while slinging pro. I was impressed. We just kept on walking after she lowered him. He ate then passed out
lotsofdotts I completely forgot birth announcements were even a thing. Oops.
I wasn't going to do them, but my FIL is an asshole and wouldn't stop bugging my husband about how we are supposed to send them out. I got tired of my husband being questioned about them so I just did it. God, I severely dislike my FIL. I'm not even going to start that rant.

That's a crap reason, and I'm sorry you felt like you had to send them. But I'm sure the announcements will make people smile - such happy mail! Edit: autocorrect

Thank you! In all fairness I gained 23lb in pregnancy (3 weeks early) and I think it was because I had placental infarction. Which means LO wasn't getting what he needed to and not growing like he should. ? so it's taken a lot less work to get back to where I was. If everything was ok and I went full term I bet I would be in a different boat.
