My doctor suggested switching up. I was on zyrtec last year and they suggested I switch to either Claritin or Allegra for a week to see if that would help, it did! I too love zyrtec but currently on Claritin... (Boy dog is on Claritin too... so we share)
I have to switch every few years because my body builds up a tolerance to them? I was on Allegra for years, but this season it's going to be Zyrtec!
Has anyone ever done allergy shots? MH's family SWEARS by them, but it's so hard to get time off of work during the school year and that seems inconvenient (then again, so is not being able to see or breathe all day).
I did 4.5 years of allergy shots and it made a huge difference. I still take meds when the seasons change but I haven't gone into shock since I did it so that is a win in my book. I also went from a sinus infection every other month to once every few years.
My clinic stayed open late on Tuesdays until 6 or 7 for people working. It was just down the street from my work so I always went on lunch.
Is it weird that I don't like to free-boob? I am a D and for some reason I always like to have a little support. I sleep in those cami's that have a shelf bra. I cannot just wear a t-shirt with nothing under it.
Add me to the contained-boob club. When I free boob it, the under boob tends to get a little sweaty. I like to have a little lift and separation between my boob and torso.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS. It's about the under boob sweat. I cannot deal with that.
I know that makes no sense. But it does. I have cramps in my belly button. Not period cramps, though. I think they're intestinal cramps or something. I just wish they'd get out of my belly button.

Shirts are for the weak. And those that need to be dressed. I don't have a shirt on yet. Tapatalk changed overnight....hmmmm *suspicious*
W, That's great that you get to start subbing! kaliRN, Glad to hear your H is doing ok. Passing stones is awful. swivelchair5 I, too, have never been summoned for jury duty.
I'm so glad I'm working from home today. Why is it hard to understand that a press release needs to contain newsworthy information, and isn't just a "glorified blog post"?
I HATE reading news articles that contain literally no more information than the headline.
Well, I also hate when news articles have glaring grammar and spelling mistakes.
It's not even 10 and this thread already has 6 7 pages. Talkative the past two days! I'm going to pull an icequeen so I'm not a post whore.
W, WOOHOO! Congrats on passing the background check!
kaliRN, Pain meds are the best. So glad he's feeling better! Boo that he will have to go to the docs for that one stone!
mrsjene, I'm glad your migraine is gone! They're the worst.
WHAT. THE. FUCK. I just found a tick in my fucking hair. AAAAAAHHHH I hate ticks so much. Sorry, just had a minor flip out.
shemarie82 sorry about the lack of placement It sounds like it's for the best though.
mugster I hate the plagiarism chat. My honors students had a report and presentation due today. One of them admitted to not reading the book already. I'm like YOU DON'T SAY THAT IN FRONT OF A TEACHER. Not a smart cookie. It will be interesting to see what his report looks like.
I'm wearing a white blouse with black polka dots and a forest green cardigan. #teacheroutfit
I free boob after work and weekends. Winter/fall/early spring is great because I can free boob out and about on the weekends if I wear a sweat shirt. #smallboobsaregreat
I haven't slept well in 3 nights and apparently I was sleep moving/talking last night according to my SO this morning. I've been dragging this week. I really need to catch up the next two nights because I have to be up at 2:30am on Saturday to get to school to catch a bus to NYC for a trip with drama club. #bringingapillow #sleeponthebus
Edit: you guys started another page by the time I posted.
Good morning! I just got my application submitted for grad school—I’m super pumped! I’m not wearing blue, but I am wearing this!:
Ha, @birdy! The other morning I was so tired I put soap in my contact case… and that was before I had put my contacts in :/
I’m happy your hubby is ok, kaliRN! I’m sorry you’re feeling so tired!! Moar coffee!!
I’m so sorry, shemarie82. Good for you for looking at the silver lining. Still a bummer situation. They’d be lucky to have you two. I’m sending you (and those two little dudes) some hugs.
I’ll wave at you when you’re in Denver, shadesofgold!! I hope the rest of your journey goes off without a hitch!
I am in the unable to free boob club. Sometimes I try to do a sneaky-free-boob when I wear a sweatshirt, but I get worried about people seeing my saggy boobs and then I get really nervous and sweaty. Then I am the saggy-smelly-free-boobing weirdo. No one wants that.

Why would you be smelly? Unless of course you don't bathe. I hope you at least bathe once in a while.

When I get the nervous sweats, it is not a pleasant odor. Even if I am showered (which I do daily ) and deodorant-ed, the nervous sweats cut through.
What do I want for lunch today? And yes, it's only 10:20 and I'm already thinking about lunch.
I'm having tacos at a new place with a friend who just got engaged. This couple's second first date was the night before my wedding, and their second second date was my wedding, so I feel partially responsible for the rock she got.
Second first date? Second second date? I am confused.
I am wearing a blue dress. (Totally, completely unrelated note: I really need to do laundry.)
Glad YH is doing better, kaliRN - hope he follows up and gets the treatment he needs!
Hugs shemarie82 - sounds like it is for the best, but that is still sad.
This year Allegra seems to be doing it for me in terms of allergy relief. But this has been a terrible spring allergy-wise for pretty much everyone I know... Hope we all feel better soon!
Last night I was named director of our winter musical next season, so I'm super excited about that.
Tomorrow cannot come soon enough, because I FINALLY get to see Age of Ultron.
I'm still in bed, trapped under a needy cat who's grown very jealous of the kitten. He used to sleep on my feet every night, but doesn't anymore because Thomas O'Malley has claimed the bed, and so I give him every snuggle opportunity he wants.
A lot going on this morning with me and MH. I came into work and called my boss "hun." OMG. My work area is right outside his office so I'm so glad he did not see my face turn beet red.
I love the name Maeby for a cat! Or a dog. Or a person....
We have a friend who just got an all black kitten, she had always wanted ONLY an all black kitten and no other colors, and it is soooo cute. Kittens FTW.
I'll have an all black cat eventually. I'll wear him down. It's so funny to me, he's not the least bit superstitious- except when it comes to black cats, apparently. And Maeby, I didn't love at first, especially after we found out the kitten we thought was a girl was actually a boy, but he's 2.5 now and it fits him so well.
I don't know if anybody else has touched on it, but from what I read it is bad luck to cross a black cat you don't know, but it's good luck to have a black cat. We have one and I've decided that we're always going to have at least one black cat.
