rooskie -2 is statistically the best day. It only takes one time :-)
I know. I'm just over it. And trying to hit "perfect timing". We have yet to hit O. And I was frustrated waiting on the temp since I had a positive opk on Sunday. I started looking at digital opks last night because I have seen one positive opk since I started using them. I'm to the point where I'm ready to move on to the next steps but I want to try everything we can on our own still. I have a general physical with my primary care provider at the end of the month so hopefully she will run bloodwork to help rule out small things (vitamin D deficient, thyroid, etc).
Basically last night ended in ugly crying because I feel like I'm doing too much to be where we are now. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been there.
I feel the same way and I'm sorry you are having a rough time. TTC can be really hard some days. Major ((hugs))
Thanks. I'm just burnt out on it all. I do use opks 2 times a day which is oh so fun to sneak around at work. It's like trying to wrestle a sun chip bag out of my purse and then sneak it down a long hallway and hope no one else is in there. can we get them in less loud packaging that can be turned into a reasonable sized cup so I don't have to fold a Dixie cup and carry it down there too? I'm not talented enough to pee in a wrapper. I'll probably quit temping after I confirm o just to get a break.
Try waiting to do your second test until later in the evening. Like after you get home from work. I seem to get MUCH closer to a positive if I do my second test around 6pm. Plus it avoids having to sneak that awkwardness around work. Do you get a fade in/fade out pattern? I usually just count my darkest OPK as my positive even if it technically isn't positive. It sounds like you might just have a short surge and are missing it even at twice a day. So count the darkest one as your positive and HIO.
I usually just count my darkest. I think this cycles positive was because I was dehydrated enough. I normally drink over a gallon of fluids a day and I think that might be why I can't get a positive either. I seriously pee when I leave work at 5 and again when I get home at 5:30. It's insane but I have to have a drink with me everywhere and down it like a camel. It runs in my family.

+another one. I tend to take mine first in the AM and then when I get home after work (sometimes later) during FW.
Hi Friends! Excited to finally jump back into WTO!
Cycle/Month: 7/7
CD: 1
What are you doing to get knocked up? Took a break from temping and OPK for the last two months, but I'm so ready to jump back in!
R/R/CS: I had a 33 day cycle this past one, which has never happened before. I was starting to worry that my period was never going to come back. I'm actually thankful for CD1 today because that means 1) I won't be on my period for my wedding next week or the honeymoon, and 2) I can start temping again so I know what is going on in my body!
GTKY: What's your "must have" summer accessory? This has been said so many times already, but sunglasses for sure!! I am loyal Oakleys girl all the way!
@wallflwr926 and mustloveerica Good luck with the upcoming appointments!
Cycle/Month: 24 blahhhh
CD: 4
What are you doing to get knocked up? Nothing! FW is during vacation, so maybe the Caribbean will be good to my ute!
R/R/CS: I tanned for the first time in YEARS last night, and I hated it. But I am SUPER pale and have to be in a swim suit in 9 days.
GTKY: What's your "must have" summer accessory? Sun block... all the sun block. None of the SPF 30 stuff, I go right for the 50+. Like I said, I am a pale person that burns so easily. We got married in Jamaica (almost 3 years ago!) and I had the weirdest burn lines in our wedding pictures, they are kind of great!
ETA: adorebel I thought me and my former college roomie were the only ones that said sunnies!
@wallflwr926 I'm starting RE testing. Since they saw something on the ultrasound I'm having a saline sonogram next week to figure out if it is uterine polyps or not. If it is, then presumably I would have surgery early next month (it is best done after your period ends and before ovulation). From what I've read, I would end up benched for two months post-surgery. But I'm also doing all of the other tests this month, so I will have some kind of action plan after this month is over.
mugster I just realized you said you had your ultrasound yesterday. Do they have a plan of action for you?
rooskie - MH and I have had our ups and downs too. TTCing can be a stressful experience sometimes. Big hugs to you. And like mustloveerica said -2 has the best odds statistically. So try to stay positive. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I do this at work all the time too...I've started just taking my whole purse into the restroom with me.

I try to make sure my sweaters have pockets. I have small cups that I can fit in my pocket.
Cycle/Month: 8/12 (whomp whomp, today's my ttcversary) CD: 5 What are you doing to get knocked up? The sex R/R/CS: Bummed that treatment this month got cancelled because of a cyst. Hopefully, if I'm in town, we'll be able to try again *knocks on wood* next month. Still hesitant about assuming my cycles are regulated now, thanks oglio-/annovulation. But here's hoping! GTKY:What's your "must have" summer accessory? Shorts. Because hot. Everything else that is considered "summery" I'll wear all year long.
Cycle/Month: 5 CD: 15 What are you doing to get knocked up? BBT and sex
R/R/CS: I am being a total lazy bones. I am kind of but not really taking this cycle off. DH and I have had plans to have sex so many times this week, and it has only actually happened once. For once, it's me saying that I'm too tired. I am at the dreading sex point of TTC. DNW.
GTKY: What's your "must have" summer accessory? maxi dresses and sun dresses. Pant in the summer are the worst.

Very late to the party. I have had ZERO time lately for TCF and it's making me mad!
Cycle/Month: 14
CD: 7
What are you doing to get knocked up? BBT, OPKs, PNVs, Lovenox, Folgard, Baby Asp
R/R/CS: I am thinking of calling my RE to see if she would like to add progesterone suppositories to my TWW as well as the lovenox. I mean, why not? I started brown spotting way to early this last LP. It worries me.
GTKY: What's your "must have" summer accessory? A/C. I'm in Texas.

Nice to see you around these parts! Also we have the same cycle/month numbers. Stupid long ass cycles but I hope yours stays regulated!
jags8 I know you already got some answers to your question, but I just wanted to add my experience. My OB did an ultrasound because I bleed at various times during my cycle. Nothing was found during the ultrasound, but I was diagnosed with fried/friable cervix. It just means that it's easy irritated, which happens all the time with TTC. Hope your OB can figure out what's going on with you!
