Hello all!
I know these boards aren't very active yet, but I was wondering if those who are here could recommend a stroller for me.
I have a friend who found out at 20 weeks that she is expecting twins on her DD's first birthday. She also has an eight year old and a four year old. I would love to get her a stroller for the three youngest babies, but am unsure which would be best. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
As far as catering to the twins only, the Double Snap and Go is brilliant for the newborn/infant stage. It doesn't last long term though and what to do with the one year old becomes a question.
For her situation, I would think a light weight double, with the ability to use the car seats would be ideal. She could use a carrier for one twin and have the one year in a seat, with the other twin in the car seat/stroller seat. It would give her the flexibility of using it in a few different set-ups and fit her needs for a longer period of time.
No real advice on a specific stroller, as we went from DSNG to cheap double umbrella for when they absolutely have to be contained. My two have never liked being restrained in that fashion, so we don't use a stroller much.

The city mini double served me well for the years we used it. I am really not sure what to do about the three babies though. Maybe the double and a ring sling?

I use the graco ready2grow stroller. I like it because I have different options. I can install both carseats or 1 carseat and my 2 year old and I wear the other.

I am still struggling with this, because I'll have 3u3 and want to use my existing Britax infant seat if possible. I think the only one that will work for me is a city select with a glider board for my toddler- but that is going to be major bucks
I also think your best bet is going to be a double stroller with a carrier. My DS1 is 3 yo but every once in awhile he wants to ride in the stroller so I carry one twin and put the other two kids in the stroller. I know a lot of kids stop wanting to be in strollers between ages 1 and 2 so it may not be worth it to buy a stroller that seats three.
i would suggest a double stroller that can accommodate seats or car seats simultaneously and a baby carrier. Hat way she can put anyone of the three in the carrier and the other two in the stroller. I think this provides the most flexibility.
