I'm proud of myself. After months off from forums it has finally clicked in my head that the internet is in fact NOT serious business. Everything feels so much freer (ETA this does not feel like a word, but Google says it is so I'm leaving it).

My kid said "close my knee" tonight. He meant that he needed me to pull his pant leg back down.
I love when kids find ways to use words they have to tell you what they need.
That is adorable!
It reminds me of when DS was 2, and I would turn around in the car to look at him in his car seat and he would say "make your head go away" as his way of saying "stop looking at me mom" lol

Some asshole decided it would be a good idea to open the gate to my yard and let my dog out. I spent the time I was going to use to go to the gym running around the neighborhood trying to find my dog. Thankfully she was sitting by the door when I came back, but still who does that? Since the workout is shot, I'm drinking.

Registration for Pre-K is a pain in the ass. I need wine. Right now, in our town we have TWO excellent (reasonably priced) pre-kindergarten programs from 9-3. Both of them follow the school's curriculum. One is more structured then the other. However, all kindergarten/first grade teachers recommend either one in preparing for a classroom setting.
Of course, Reese wasn't in any preschool program this year due to the compromised immune system for most of the year. Registration for one of them was this week, but it was only for students that were previously enrolled in preschool. It is full now, Reese is number #3 on the waiting list. The other place registers in Feb, however AGAIN because she wasn't there in preschool she has to wait for all the other students to register first.
Now, I am anxious about the fall and what to do. She REALLY needs a classroom setting. She LOVES her in home, but I want her to be in a classroom environment with more than 4 kids.
I wish I could get in on this video game stuff. But FPS make me sick. How about a good RPG? FF? Kingdom Hearts?
Bioshock is kind of an RPG.
Yeah, but it's the FPS aspect that gets me. Something about the camera views. It's weird. DH has tried me on about 10 different FPS games so that we can play together. Never works. We have to stick to Little Big Planet and Dynasty Warriors.
