Holy crap, littleapplemom! Not fun. I think I'm probably going to do the cortisone shots. If that doesn't help I'll wait until I'm done working at the salon to get it done.
We used to have a TMI Tuesday and since today is Tuesday...
I still haven't gotten my period. Today I am having some PMS-like cramps, so now I am wondering if it will come in the next few days. Granted, the same thing happened a couple months ago. This is probably the 3rd time I felt like I was about to get my period. While I don't miss being on my period, I am not really enjoying the unpredictability of when it will return.
Anyone else have a LO with teeth that is biting them while feeding? LO uses it as a tool when he wants the milk to letdown faster or when he's just being ornery. Not cool.
So not cool. How do you deal? This is a huge fear of mine! The teeth are *right there* but haven't broken all the way through and she already clamps down very hard - but at the end, I think when she's trying to get more.
pixie523 My love of sweets and beer is a huge part of motivation for running. In my book, you are totally justified in eating all the things. millm0m How do you only want sweets once a week!? I'm impressed. Also, you'll have to teach lo the fine art of gift-giving. Blowouts are unacceptable on birthdays. ninergirl52 I got the pinkeye too, a couple weeks ago. I'm sorry you got double whammyed!
sjp03 I haven't gotten my period yet either, but I'm EBF so I think that is normal? My doctor made it VERY clear that I could still get pregnant while breastfeeding haha, so I also don't like the uncertainty of that. But we're super careful and always use condoms. So I doubt I will get pregnant, but it's always in my head anyway. I am really enjoying not having a period! It's going to be really convenient for summertime and swimming, too!

Mmmm Cake......I posted a recipe for dump cake in the recipe swap thread. I knew this recipe was going to get me into trouble from the get go. It's just too easy to make. I made one last night.

I try to stick my finger in and say no, but I don't think he knows why I'm telling him no. I just kind of deal with it for now (its not like he's drawing blood) but it is definitely not fun!
millm0m that's the only gift baby could think of! Pecan cobbler sounds delicious though!
sjp03 I've gotten AF three times. Cycle is super long, no longer bfing. I got cramps on and off about every 3 weeks. Basically even though I get it it is still unpredictable. We also basically don't use any protection so that doesn't help either in the forecasting. Basically I just take a test every few weeks lol

This is exactly how it is for me too! I'm EBF so I haven't had my period yet either, but there have been a few times where I could have sworn I was about to start.
catlady22 that sounds painful I'm sorry! I'm worried about this too because I think LO is teething and using me as a chew toy sometimes, but thankfully no teeth yet.

I had the steroid injections to both wrists for Dequarvain's tendonitis. I felt better for about a week or two. It's come back and MD doesn't want to repeat injections until two months have passed.
I have braces to wear for sleeping, but those prescription suckers are very restrictive. Interferes with pacifier duty in the middle of the night. Mornings are the worst.
Sorry if I don't tag today but yay for crib sleep and boo for no sleep (I'm in that club)! No af for me either, one of the docs I work with told me if I'm nursing every 3-4 hrs still I probably won't get it, so I got that going for me! Good luck to the gals with lo's who are teething, I think mine is too but it's really hard for me to tell. My friend ebf and said when her lo would bite her she would say ouch! and instead of pulling him off (major pain) she would kind of put his face into her boob and he would unlatch to take a breath (she said it sounds bad but works and he would always come off without pulling and he was totally fine)
We did the 5k on mothers day and it was fine...I walked with lo in the stroller and being a former runner it was so hard to walk! I miss running so much but noticed a drop in my supply when I tried before. Any ebf mom's who run who have any tips?? Maybe I should try again, I did that when I was about 8 wks pp.
I let lo fall asleep on the couch and now can't do anything around the house because I have to watch her rolling butt, damn.

Drive by post. Happy birthday millm0m! Munchkin has decided that 7:30 is bedtime. Lol, what? I remember when he wouldn't go down until 2:30am. Geeze, we've come a long way. The bad news is that he "sttn" until like 3:00 am and then he's up for good by 7:00 am. Of course *I* am not getting 12 hours of sleep because who wants to go to bed at 7:30? Not me.
I took my car in for an estimate on a few random body work things. Let's just say when the word "thousands" came out of the guy's mouth I turned a few shades of white.
Also money related, H and I are starting to talk about buying a house. We've been talking about talking about it, but a few peeks at realtor.com shows us that we could very easily afford a nice starter house in our area. I DO NOT WANT TO MOVE AGAIN!!! But I also don't want to pay ~$25k in rent over the next 4 years.
This whole post is about being a grown up. Golly. Being an adult involves lots of big numbers.

I'm sad. :-( so I'm guessing you guys babies are sttn in their own cribs huh?
:-( :-(
Not my ds. We're still cosleeping. It's just easier than getting up every 2 hours plus I'm paranoid... And on top of that we've both been sick. He's EXTRA crabby. I have to hold him for at least 20 hours. Yes sleeping, playing, eating- truly 20 hours!

lovebuggies12, M is in a co-sleeper next to our bed. We don't even own a crib yet! He usually winds up in bed with me for at least some part of the night.

I'm responding in bullet format: -one bonus of not sttn and round the clock bf/pumping is no AF! I have to look at the bright side. -that is a good tip for potential biting during bf. I have already shrieked in pain several times and it has done nothing to deter baby from clamping down. -how I know my baby is teething is her gums swelled up and squared out, I can see the shape of her teeth on the front side of her gums, she keeps on sucking in her bottom lip, and she is writhing around at night. And even more drooly than she was. Yes, apparently that is possible. -I was running a good amount from 6w pp to 13w when I went back to work. I'm down to couple times a week plus racing now, with no noticeable effect on supply. I switched from a compression sports bra to one that has cup shapes and more structured support, track calories on MFP to make sure I'm eating enough to compensate for the calories burned, and I do all the galactogogues I can. I hope you still had a lot of fun on your Mother's Day walk!

We are still co-sleeping. Starting out in the crib and then moving after the first wake up. I'm hoping after this round of teething that she can go longer in the crib!

lovebuggies12 - my Lo takes a solid hour (if not 2) along with about 3 attempts to get him in his crib. He usually stays there anywhere from 2-5 (5 on a very good night) hours. When he's up he comes back to bed with us. My patience & delirium generally over-ride all other options.
