Oh my goodness, DS just chats up a storm. He will walk around with the cordless landline phone (with no one on the other line) and have a full conversation as if someone is there. It cracks me up.
One of my favorites is when he sees something he likes and he goes "Check it out mama! Check it out!"
He has also started saying "IT'S MINE" which dear lord save us.
Also when I tell him I love him he has started going "I love you too mama" and it just melts my heart!

I forgot to add when R says "ohhhh nice mama!" or "cool!" I die.
We've been leaving her door closed all night now since I am I up with A. In the am when she wakes up she bangs on the door and yells "mama get out me!" Ha.

DS has started saying "I like it! I like it A LOT!"
Kids crack me up. They may be little tantrum throwing terrors but they say the funniest crap.
DS is starting to say a lot more! His favorite phrase lately is "What's that?" for everything....then he repeats whatever it is. One of my favorites is that when he needs help with something he will yell at me and say "I help you mama!". He noticed DH mowing the lawn the other day and wanted to know what he was doing. I told him he was mowing the grass. He asked what the lawn mower was, so I told him. He insisted that DH was vacuuming the grass. If I corrected him he would get made and so, no daddy vacuuming the grass. It was pretty funny. I find him so entertaining these days (minus the meltdowns, although those can be pretty funny in their own right sometimes).

Yeah, Jack will repeat anything we say. And he forms his own compete sentences too. Lately he has been using verbs in past tense correctly which blew my mind. These kiddos are growing too fast!!

My child has kind of stopped repeating what we say, but used to do it all the time. We recently had a playdate with a mom and child who speak French to each other, and M would repeat them! I was like, yay, learn French. But we haven't seen them since.

She and her 8 month old brother have this routine at lunch. He pounds on the table, then she pounds on the table, then he laughs, and then she says "AJ is laughing, he's telling a joke."

DS has started saying "don't want to." I can understand not wanting to get a diaper change or take a nap, but he also says this for art class and soccer class.
Well luckily her "oh shit" phase didn't last long. DD is a big chatterbox when she's around people she is comfortable with. My favorites include "you wait here momma" (she is so independent) and "I love you the most"

Ha! Yeah, DS caught on to "fucking" recently. But he only said it a few times one day and moved on thank god. I have such a hard time not swearing but that made me think twice before talking!

The hardest part was that she always used it properly so it was so funny that we couldn't resist laughing. I'm worse than DH but his whole family curses a decent amount so I'm hoping she doesn't pick up any other phrases when DH gets to Florida and we go to his parents' house.
