Two and a half weeks for ours but weight is over 30 lbs....I will be interested to learn his height...it was 33.5 at 18 months and I think he has gotten taller
Hmmm. H is 6' and he was only 32" at his 2 year. M is probably between 34-35". I should probably make that appt soon since N goes in for her 6mon at that time too.
I managed to get both kids in at the same time for the 24 and 6m appointments! I felt like I won the lottery. We'll see if I still feel that way when I have to occupy them both in the waiting room...
Urgent care appt today DS is 24 lbs 4 oz. They didn't check his height. His 2 year appt is in 2 weeks. I already know he'll be getting shots since he didn't at his 18m appt

J was supposed to get the second hep A and the TB test but it hasnt been at least sixth months since the last hep A shot so i have to go back at end of of july or in august. Since he was already upset from the blood draw we decided to wait on the TB until we go back for the hep A shot. I hate when they get shots and have blood drawn. Hes so much more aware now.
We don't go in until June 8, but at our last sick visit B weighed in at about 31 pounds. Not sure of his height - I'm guessing around 33" or so. I'll post again after our 2 year check up
theycallmekveld would you mind messaging me or sharing the name of your blog? My cousin had a little girl at 25 weeks and she would love to follow it! The little girl will be 1 in July!

After 18 months we don't have another round of shots until age 4. Did J miss one or is it part of the regular schedule there to have some at 2 yrs?

It was too close to between shots, so DS didn't have any at 18 months.

i get that. Ours were spaced out a little weird around the 4 and 6 month ones (I think) because of the same issue. But because of the way our health care system works, it doesn't interfere with our doctor visits. We see the doc for check ups or sick visits, but all shots are done by a public health nurse at a different facility entirely. So we can schedule them according to when the last round was done. No need to wait for the next Dr visit.

I think J got his first hep A at 18 months and gets the second now. Im going by their schedule. The only thing that i did differently was that i split the chicken pox and mmr. He got the chicken pox at 12 months and the mmr closer to 15.
The nurse said they do 4 at age 4 but i may space them a bit. Maybe do two and two. Four at once is a lot.

Doctor visits and the nurses give the shots at the same appointment. Shots happen at the end for us

that is a lot! The most we've ever had are 3 at a time (4 months and 12 months). The others were all 2 or 1. I just checked the routine schedule and we only have 2 at age 4 also.

They normally only do two too. They used to do one in each leg. I think the only time he had three vaccines the third was the liquid one.
The nurse even commented about how age four is the worst bc they get four. Im gonna plan ahead to see what the best spacing would be.
I think a lot of the vaccines have such a wide range of when they can be given that different doctors may space them differently.
Alright E is 32.3 pounds and 35 and 1/4 inches. So doubling that he would be a shade over 5' 10". I am 5'9 1/2 and DH is 6' 1" ish. I would have thought he would be taller then me by more then a half inch. I did some googling and the Mayo clinic said this method is accurate within 4".
And cl8badb I am so the opposite of you I would just get the vaccines over and deal with a rough 24 hours then have to go back and go through it twice.

I just dont like putting all of the vaccines in his system all at once. ::knock on wood:: J has only ever had a rough time with vaccines once and he was only a few months old.
