I think I need to start doing a MOTN diaper change.. We moved up to the next size diaper and DD is still overflowing. Problem is I'm afraid a diaper change will get her all riled up. What do you guys do?

We change her diaper every other MOTN feeding. We do it first. It works well for us. But she only poops every 3 days in the evening so I know we won't have a stinky. I kicked hubby to the couch last night. He's been snoring and keeping me up more than I already am the past few nights. Too bad buddy.

We rarely change him in the MOTN unless we know he pooped. Have you tried the overnight diapers? We use Pampers Swaddlers during the day but at night we use the Baby Dry because they are supposed to last up to 12 hours.

Might be worth a shot! She only ever pees but she pees a ton! Last night she peed right through her Jammies to her sleep sack. And she was for sure awake after that mess of a clean up.

We always change if it's been more than 3 hours! I've learned the hard way that this kid pees a ton at night! No one likes changing clothes at 3 am.
Sunny normally only eats on one side, so I feed then change her, then offer the second breast for her to nurse back to sleep. We can usually do the whole thing in 20 minutes or so.
I am too...and I'm pissed because I appear to be covered in what appear to be flea bites but my left eye is itchy and swollen nearly shut. WTF is going on?
I'm up. Coming in to gripe that baby sleep slept great. I am doing a dream feed actually bc my boobs feel like boulders. But. I stayed up late. I'm kinda mad myself bc I could have gotten some great extra sleep that I really need. Ugh.
M had been asleep for 6 GLORIOUS hours... so DH woke me up to check on him. In my dazed and confused state I thought he was telling me that M was crying and I needed to feed him. Consequently I woke up M while trying to feed him before I became aware of what a fucking idiot DH is. It took me an hour to get M back down and he's so much easier if he has woken up on his own.
I asked DH why in the hell he had me wake up the baby and he said he thought he might be awake so I should just "check" on him... WTF? If the baby needs me he will yell for me. And if you wanted him checked on otherwise DO IT YOURSELF!
Hey guys. Second feeding in 2 hours. Kid can't get enough of me. I don't usually check in here because I'm too busy trying to stay awake during MOTN feedings.
@nightowl89 Are you on any new meds? That sounds like a drug reaction...

I know... I'm covered in red welts and they just keep spreading. But I finished my ampicillin on Friday and only took Motrin last night. My MIL is wondering if I've developed a sulfite allergy since I had wine last night for the first time since getting pregnant but I don't know.
Is that normal to not have a reaction until two weeks after starting it?
Reactions can be delayed 8-10 days after starting. Also, even if it isn't a medication reaction, taking pictures can help your doctor identify the rash in case it takes a few days to get in to the office.
Up because DD was quietly choking on her own spit. I had just checked the monitor and her eyes were open and by the time I got to her crib(seconds) she was choking. I don't know how I kept my cool, now I am wide awake and she is sleeping in my arms.

I'm up! I never post here because I'm super lucky, but teething is winning tonight. Poor baby was covered in drool and chewing his hands like crazy, so got him changed, tylenol'd and topped him off with another 3oz of bottle. He's now happily asleep, but I'm having trouble getting back to sleep.
I'm here to join the party. 3rd time up tonight. I wish my donkey would give me some sleep. She'll be 4 months on Sunday. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but this often of wake ups is just killing me for this length of time. It's just as often as when she was a newborn.

Hugs! That is so scary. DD did that a few times a couple weeks ago. She slept in my arms for a few nights after that.
