No baby to see.... yet! Apparently I'm more like 5.5 weeks along, so all we could see was a nice little yolk sac. We have another ultrasound next Th so DH will get to come along with me to see who/what's there then.
Good luck!
I knew the dates with my other kids because of fertility treatments, but with this one my cycles went wonky so we had early dating ultrasounds too. At the first one I think we saw gestational and yolk sac, which was around where I suspected dating wise but obviously a little frustrating, then two weeks later we had a HB. I am hoping next week goes well for you!

I was freaking out for a few minutes because the technician wasn't telling me anything, and all I saw was an empty black oval. I was like, so, no baby? But then he said everything was normal, it was just really early. LMP was 6/25, but looks like I'm almost 2 weeks behind what the due date would have been based on LMP. Definitely threw me for a loop a little bit!

When did you have the positive test? I can't remember.

Going back for a follow up sono early tomorrow morning. It really threw me not seeing a baby last time (just a sac) so I'm a little nervous and hoping things look normal and on track for the est DD, whatever that ends up being.

Fx everything goes well. They only saw a sac at my first appt with dd also but everything was fine at my next appt.

I will keep you in my thoughts! Hoping for good news.

thank you, that's encouraging. I'm sure it's fairly common, just new to me!
Just putting it out there that if you have a rec for a comfy (no pinchy bands or super stabby underwire), supportive, and practical mat/nursing bra, I'm all ears. Looking into Cake Maternity because I just cannot go through another pregnancy making do with only a sports bra uniboob and a super uncomfortable $20 nursing bra. Just. Can't.

I'll weve you all the ones I have if you want them. I'll double check sizes tonight. I think they are c-dd

I liked this one but I am small chested and didn't really need much support or wires. I found it at a store that specializes in breastfeeding and ordered more online. I didn't have uniboob. I hated the wireless bra I got at Target.
that looks comfy! I got something like that from Target but they got stretched out pretty fast-- probably just poor quality. I have boobs that are pretty far apart (tmi??) and couldn't make cleavage if I tried, so sometimes bras like this don't do enough to fight the armpit boob look. But underwire generally sucks during pregnancy. Ugh.

I am already loathing the nursing gear. I had to buy one from breakoutbra.com because if sizing- I went from DD to freaking I nursing the twins... Went back down a little, but I never went back to a DD. Bra shopping sucksssss... Nursing bras are even worse, the selection and comfort level for them, no matter the size, blows. I hope you can find something, you have my sympathy.

So, we are still not 100% on the middle name. The more I percolated on Amethyst the more it didn't seem to fit just right. I'm leaning towards Rosalind or Sapphire now... But we are still debating and looking for other possibilities. Love the first name (Minerva) just hating finding the right middle name.
Sitting at the lab doing my glucose test... Barf. Also so so tired at least DH took a half day so the kids are with him.
I hope it went well for you!
I am hoping to get the results by my OB appt next week, will keep you all posted. I passed with the other kids but I'm nervous this time, because I was borderline prediabetic starting this pregnancy.

Of those two I like Rosalind better with Minerva. Pearl might be good too, but I don't like it as much with the last name... Naming humans is hard!!

I love having access to my results online as soon as they're available lol. Passed my glucose test, TSH is good still, but my hemoglobin was low which I expected. It's basically exactly where it was with DS and the twins, so guess I should get some iron supps.
As for the name, DH prefers Sapphire but likes Rosalind too. I prefer Rosalind, but I do like Sapphire. I am still looking off and on in case something else catches my eye. It feels like it was so much easier with the other kids lol.
