I was planning to post an update today anyway, but was waiting for my doctor to call with the numbers from my u/s this morning... then an hour ago I found out I missed her call when I went to get water - BOO!
Anyway - Overall things are still going really well. I'm still leaking on and off, but my fluid level this morning was looking good and I replenished since last week when they were "low normal" so I'm back to "normal" again, which is great! Baby overall is doing okay and we had been holding steady for a nice long time, but the mass(es) started growing again last week. I had another round of Beta shots on Fri/Sat (which makes 7 rounds total this pregnancy) to try and shrink the solid mass again, but from what I could tell this morning, it didn't look like it worked too well.
To me the heart looked a bit squished this morning, but again, no numbers from the doc yet, so that's just my guess.... I'm sure she'll call in the morning (I hope) with the info for me.
Today, I am 35 weeks 4 days - which means I'm only 3 days from my goal of getting to 36 weeks. Last week doc said once I hit 36 weeks we'll see what the u/s says and likely schedule a c-section to get baby out within a week, and not more than 2! So depending on how these numbers looked today, and how they look again on Wednesday, I might know by the end of the week when our little Nugget is making a grand entrance! If the mass gets larger and starts making baby distressed, it might be sooner than later!
I'll update this if I hear from her and let you all know how the mass really looks to the professional!
Additional Update... My Doc came by to see me this morning (She's fantastic, honestly, she even brought me home-baked goodies!)
Anyway, the numbers show that both masses grew over the weekend. So it seems the beta shots didn't really do what we hoped, although it may have kept the solid mass from growing quickly, who knows. The cyst also grew quite a bit again, which is not very good, and there is pressure on the heart. Not as much as we've had before, but still not good.
So she is going to get in touch with the other docs (pediatric surgeon, neonatologist, etc.) this week and update everyone so they can all talk about delivery next and what the plan is now that we've made it this far. She really feels that draining the mass immediately before delivery will be best for Nugget now that it's grown again. Then once delivered the docs can focus on babies breathing and stability, and not worry about also draining the mass at the same time. We'll see how it looks at my u/s tomorrow and see what the docs say about delivery... I'm going to have another baby soon!!!!
