sadie74 I have to do it at least three times to see if it is the method or if it was coincidence BUT... I was home within ten min of him falling asleep. As I was unbuckling I just kept shushing over and over and he woke up but I just put his head back against my chest and continued shushing. Went straight for the crib, put him down with my hands on him a couple more seconds and continued shushing.
He doesn't use a paci but has a lovie that he sleeps with and I just put that in his hands and he stayed asleep. The thing is kind of magical though. It works for him like a paci would

Drive-by. It's Saturday here and we're having such a good day. Both H and I got naps, (even though M isn't napping), I'm cooking right now, we all went to the chiro, H is more upbeat about his knee crap... and well, I just love having my husband around when he's in a good knee.

Oh, I forgot to say... M discovered today how to roll over multiple times. He's gone belly to back, and back to belly, but didn't string rolls together. But now he's getting all the way across the floor in minutes!

Today is my birthday and I had a lovely day. I went out to breakfast with my Abuela, then DH made me a adorable fancy picnic. I had story time with Isaac on the blanket at the park. He got to see airplanes and birds flying over us. Some other little kids heard me reading the Gruffalo and asked to listen then asked if I had other stories. Most adorable thing ever. Here are some pics. I had the best time!
