TV: some of my fondest childhood memories involve TV shows. My family quotes old episodes to each other like some people quote movies. TV was definitely a way for us to bond
Food: Indian food, Asian food... LOVE LOVE LOVE Prolly why I married a Chinese man who's Mom used to own a restaurant
Meat: beef is mid rare, all others are well done. If my chicken or my pork are undercooked, bloody, etc I will not eat them. Have you heard about some new trend in Japan?! Ordering RARE chicken and pork is a thing now! Gross gross gross (And yes, I rinse all the meats before I cook them. One of my college jobs was working in a meat plant. We were clean, as plants go, and I wouldn't want to eat ANYTHING from our plant without giving it a solid rinse)
But... That's how I first knew I was pregnant with LO. I walked into a restaurant (Rudy's BBQ for any TX ladies out there) and instantly was hit in the face by this god-awful pickle stench. Come to find out they had pickles on their condiment bar allllllll the way across the restaurant. Yup... Sense of smell was workin' overtime

We have Rudy's in Arizona too. Sooo good! Of course Texas BBQ is way better than any BBQ we have here.

Ohhhh!!! Rudy's in AZ, too?! What part? (I travel for work so finding places to eat that are familiar without being too franchise-y is always a plus)
Thank Jesus I'm not the only one! They all called me weird, famous!
What's going on in the tween world?
Nope not the only one oh god. My little princess is balking at the fact that she has chores to do. She feeds our pets, I ask her to wash her own dishes and put the other washed dishes away. Also I expect her to clean up her stuff, she told her dad she felt like everything was heaped on her to do. Allow me to play a song on the worlds smallest violin. Basically my reaction was IDGAF. Of course I didn't say those words but you get it. She's not exempt from chores, she is a part of this family And she can help out. She's also been going against things that I say and ask her to do, I know it's probably normal for the age but I'm not putting up with that shit.
Slave driver! My dd has to feed the dogs (and ds1 usually helps) and she thinks that's too much to ask. She sighs and huff and puffs. Tweens!

My uo: my toddler eats really well. The only thing that is sometimes tough is that he will be in the mood for something specific and only wants that. Lately he wants "tacos" all.the.time. which are really cheese roll ups from taco bell.
Over here our hygiene guidelines say no to washing chicken as it does indeed splash the bacteria around. The sinkhole apparently has more bacteria than your toilet seat.

Yay! Made it to the end! Can't remember half of it though... :/
RE: TV - my LO loves it. I feel bad having it on when she's in the room but it would be nearly impossible not to expose her to some of it. I watched a lot of TV bc I was an only child and even though I grew up with Internet, Windows 3.1 wasn't that great, you guys. LOL
UO/FFTC: I'm kind of scared to DTD with DH. We haven't in like 7 months and I feel bad but I don't feel sexy...hence I don't want to do ANYTHING remotely sexy. Sigh. I feel kinda bad but I'm at the point where idc if I have it ever again.
So...the question remains...am I a lurker? Ha
I don't think you are, because I recognize your name, and I'm bad at remembering shit.
You are not in the upper crust of the regs who have made it our lyfes, though.
This is S's tub, and it goes in the kitchen sink. He in no way whatsoever comes in contact with the sink. I've tried bathing with him in the bathtub, and much prefer this tub.
Not sure if you count this as gross, but it does go in the kitchen sink. It also fits in the washroom sink, but the basement is freeeeezing!!
This is exactly what I do! I don't think it's gross at all.

Do you also hate pickle chips?
What's the next strongest feeling after hate? Utter loathing?? I'm the next level beyond THAT with all things pickle and most things pickled
i have been known to stop eating food, mid meal, because it was touching a pickle on my plate and now it smells or tastes even slightly like pickles.
Tartar sauce? Nope! I'll make my own by mixing mayo and mustard, no pickles I love Korean food... Can't stand kimchi I'm all about fair food, but as soon as I see the jar of those giant pickles... I lose my appetite

Ha I def don't pretend to be a regular. I missed a lot of the awesome stuff that happened.
I don't really don't care about noob status or understand why it even matters. We all moved from TB and know who has been around forever and who hasn't (unless you lurked then no one knows). Maybe it's a way for some people who weren't really active on TB to no longer feel like a new member or whatnot. I know some regulars posted threads to up their post count too but there are a lot of new names too. Honestly it's a bit overwhelming. I totally welcome all members to this board and would never try to make anyone feel bad for commenting or lurking or whatever you want to do but I just don't see what the big deal is about getting the official status on a forum. But...that's just me. (I did like that questions thread though it was fun).
My rainbow arrived 10/15/14.
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs.
TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.

See I think this is fine as its not really "in" the sonk. DH is a chef however and he wouldn't even let me use the sprayer to fill LO's little tub on the counter. He commented about how dirty it is because of raw meat and such. I hadn't even thought of that. So no kitchen sink for us.
