What a day you've had! I hope you can get some sleep and that everything works tomorrow. Sending you home just sounds scary given the reasons they wanted to induce in the first place. I'll be thinking about you.
So change of plans, they're going to take me off the pitocin, let is get out of my system and give me something to help me sleep since insomnia has been kicking in full force, and try a different route tomorrow. They think a good nights sleep will help my body relax enough to where the medicine in the morning can get me to dilate more.
Best part is, Ryan is bringing me KFC! I'm praying hard I start to dilate!
This makes more sense too me. Eat and rest well! My thoughts that tomorrow they'll be able to get things moving

Praying things get going on their own, or your body just takes over and starts contractions, or something, or anything! Girl I give you so much credit for not flipping out, this sounds like such a crazy day. Hope you can relax and enjoy your dinner and get some rest, and that after some rest things get going for real for real. FOR REAL!

Holy moly. Enjoy that KFC, take that sleeping pill like a champ and sleep today off. Fingers crossed tomorrow is more successful for you, love. I really hope they don't send you home.
Wow, I don't get on for a day, and I miss something important!!! With June looming so closely, I'll have to make the effort to check every day on you ladies!!

Hope the sleep helps and allows your body to relax/do its thing and they're more successful and you're holding your baby soon.
To everyone who hasn't heard of being sent home from an induction-it happens, it's called a failed induction. Sometimes it just ends in CS opposed to be sent home. That's why the Bishop Score is important before an induction.

That sounds like such a long day! I hope you are able to sleep and relax, and that by morning, your body has relaxed and that things are progressing on their own. I don't blame you for feeling the feels bc you've been through an exhausting day! You are handling it like a champ though!!
Good luck tomorrow - appalled for you they didn't handle that better. Not cool. They should have at least told you it was a possibility, I would not handle that well either! Tomorrow is a new day, hope things progress quickly for you and you get a really great night of sleep. Looking forward to your birth announcement!
Oh girl - I'm sorry to hear about all this! I'm also a little shocked they just kind of stopped and will restart the induction in the morning, especially given your bp issues. The thing that worked for me was the pitocin ( which they slowly ramped up to the max over the course of a few days) and an epidural with the breaking of my water. I went to bed and then the night morning, I was ready! My thoughts and prayers are with you that your body will cooperate with the process, you will have calmness and will be holding your little one very soon. Thanks for the update- been thinking of you.
I just caught up on this -- goodness you've had a roller coaster ride!! I hope you're sleeping right now and your body is relaxing. You've got this lady -- you're so strong. That KFC was very much deserved!!

Eat something that makes you poop! Like rally's! Lol
Hope things turn around for you, sounds like you have had a good ride so far. T&p your way! Get some rest and stay strong my dear!
Hope everything is going well for you today!!! I have never heard of a Dr stopping an induction either. Hope they dont send you home (I dont see that being very safe for them to do) I hope everything goes well and by the end of the day it goes well.
