Update:I opened the budget... one of the goals is "kid". Yeah... I totally teared up. We're so weird. LOL. I'm probably the only one in the world whose husband opens up a conversation about IVF by sending them a budget. hahaha.

Me too! vh2014 I hope that you and YH can come to a mutually agreeable decision. I love Plan B and hope that it works out for you.

YH sounds very sweet I'm sure budgeting helps him feel like he has some sense of control over the situation - which is what I struggle with, so I totally get planning, budgeting, and putting some beautiful black and white numbers to a messy situation. I hope you and YH can work through it and come to a decision that works for both of you.

So after another minor meltdown we talked about it last night again. His answer, "we'll figure this out". I've been having crazy dreams and somewhere in my gut I'm still in denial that this is possible.

I started DHEA after reading several studies (from nih, mayo clinic, and yes.. some anecdotal ones too). From what I read I do have symptoms of being high cortisol and my body has been under a tremendous amount of stress the last year between weight loss, new job, Coming off BC twice (2 different ones), and planing a wedding. I also read that it can be helpful in successful IVF and reducing miscarraige risk so I figured regardless of which way we go, why not.

This weekend will be some serious soul searching. I'm trying to give him the space to work through this, he's an internal processor, but tick tock tick tock. He's had a week to process and it's time to make a decision.

where would one purchase DHEA?  

I bought it at Walmart this morning.  Research says 25mg 3x a day but it comes in both 25 and 50mg and some research says more or less.   DO NOT take if PCOS, but low AMH, high FSH, low follicle count, low Estridiol  Weight gain in mid section.... high stress produces cortisol.  When cortisol and DHEA get out of balance sometimes the body needs help getting back in balance.  DHEA produces androgens and depending on the person can raise estrogen or testoterone production.  Everything I read said higher quantity and quality of eggs. They are doing a double blind study on it now but results haven't been released yet.   Other studies are peer reviewed and released, but it's hard to get women to agree to a true study as their time is short (yeah... we ALL know that) so they use overall averages and then the group that takes it for comparison.  Also some one off cases.
