Hi ladies! I'm 31 and DH is 34. I'm a high school English teacher and DH is a SAHD/musician/teacher. Our DS is seventeen-months-old and we think he'll be an awesome big brother. We have a cat and a dog who love our son and napping on our bed.
I love to swim, read, write, and cook. Wine and coffee and sushi are some of my favorite parts of being a human and I miss them.
DS was a c section after my induction at 41w 6d. At 56 hours, I stalled at 6cm, so my midwife advised a c/s. If all goes well, I anticipate a RCS with baby #2. My EDD is 2/10.

Hi all!
I am 27 and DH is 28. We conceived after 5 cycles. This is our first. DH planned a surprise trip to Disney, which happened to coincide with my O date, so I guess the Magic at the Magic Kingdom was enough! But seriously, going to embarrass this child by bringing them to Disney, and then telling them they were conceived there, when they are old enough for that to really sink in. Hah.
We have been married since 2012, and together for 12 years. High school sweethearts. We adopted our pug baby in 2012 and I have been practicing and nesting with her. As a result, I have one spoiled and attached pug!
I am a quilter and love to craft in all manners. At this stage in life I am making wedding quilts and baby quilts left and right! I love to read and have managed to become addicted to Audible so I can listen while i drive. I just started Outlander (and started watching the show, its amazing.)
I love New England. We live in Massachusetts. Oh and EDD is 2/11!
Hello! DH and I are in our late twenties and are from New England. Our 5 year anniversary is coming up. We have 1 ds already, born in July 2013. I work part time and also stay home with ds.
Ds took 3 cycles to conceive. We decided to stop preventing at the end of March, knowing it may not happen right away. We were both shocked that we conceived the first month. It still hasn't quite set in.
I am unsure as to my edd, due to a weird last cycle on bcp and being "late" and still getting negative tests until I got my positive. I am not sure if my obgyn will give me a later date or if she will go with the typical last menstrual cycle. Likely due around 2/3. My first appt is Friday, so I guess I will find out more then.
Hey everyone, I'm 31, DH just turned 34, we have a 13 month old DD. We've been married 6 years in August, together for 13 years. My first pregnancy I was sick for the whole first trimester and into the second, so far I am feeling amazing so we'll see if that lasts. We want lots of kids so we're really excited to be working on the second. I work full time and went back to work early because I am not cut out to be a SAHM, I expect to go back after 5-6 months with this one too, assuming we're all healthy. I'm in Canada and I think my EDD is 2/3.
(I guess we're introing here now instead of posting on the main board page?? *sad*)
LADIES! It looks like I get to join you!!
I'm 27, H is 30. We've been married since October 2013 and live in the Midwest. This will be our third pregnancy, and hopefully our first take-home baby. If he/she sticks, I have a Valentine's EDD.

Dang, the U.S. needs to adopt maternity leave policies like Canada's if going back to work at 5-6 months is considered early.

I can't speak for everyone, but I think it's ok if you create your own intro thread. This is just to have them all in one place, so we don't miss anyone on the main page. AW it up! (Lots of other people did before this thread was created.)

I'm going to go with your idea here.
I feel like intros here will get missed more than they would on the main board. Maybe that's just me.

Now that the board is getting busy I feel like I am missing some.
Hello, I'm 26 and got a BFP Tuesday night then had an ultrasound yesterday that didn't show a gestational sac yet. So it's supper early to get a due date but I know that it will be a February date unless I some how magically got a positive BFP after having sex on Sunday. I'm a previous N14'er that had a preemie 8 weeks early. He's 8 1/2 months now and is right on track for his adjusted age. I couldn't be happier. I am a single mom but I am also in a relationship with my babies dad (same dad). It's a super crazy story but to keep it short and simple I share a place with my sister (bipolar) and her 2 kids (split custody 50/50). It's an interesting situation to say the least and probably made for t.v. but it's life and I just try to do the best I can.

And you're looked at like a crazy person when you tell people you're going back at 6 months. I'd say 95% of people I know take the full year.

Hello Ladies!, I am 23, DH is 33. We were married July 2013. I am from Ontario Canada. I work in Healthcare. Plan to have a midwife and hopefully a home birth. No pets yet but we are so close to find our perfect home and I am sure a dog will follow not long after. This is my second pregnancy. I was part of F15, and had a MMC near the end of last summer. I love food, photography, crafting and the outdoors. Hopefully this is our rainbow baby. My EED is 8/02/16!! I can't wait to get to know you all!
Hello! I am 27 and H is 29. I stay at home with our 18 month old DD and our two dogs. We bought our first home last summer, and I have enjoyed working on our home and trying to fit all of our stuff in a smaller space. I also enjoy playing in our community band and participating in various church activities. We are outside a lot and try to camp frequently. Fortunately, DD has no problems sleeping in a tent. Due date is 2/8!

Hi ladies! Being right around 30 and having an approximately 2 year old seems popular around here!
I think I'll fit right in ;-)
I'll be 30 when LO is born, and I have a DS that turned 2 on Monday (Hi kh59!!). I finished my schooling (PhD) in August, and have had a terrible time finding a job. As a result, I'm kind of a SAHW. DS has stayed in school to keep his schedule the same (and get all the benefits of socialization that come along with his school), and I have plenty of time to look for a job/craft/attempt to tame my wild wild yard.
DS took 14 months to conceive (we got lucky riiiight before I filled my prescription for Clomid with the RE). I had atypical PCOS, and super irregular and/or annovulatory cycles. Pregnancy seems to have kicked my hormones into whack though (I've actually been cycling regularly since PPAF returned), as DH and I were stunned to get pregnant on our first cycle trying this time! EDD is 2/15.
Hello! I'm turning 27 in a few weeks and H is 28. We're both software engineers and live in Queens NYC. We have one fat orange cat.
This will hopefully be my first child. My body apparently gets pregnancy soooooper quick but sadly the babies haven't been sticky so far - this is the third time I'm pregnant in 6 months so it's been quite the roller coaster. This pregnancy is immediately following a miscarriage/suspected ectopic so I'm going in for an early ultrasound to see if everything is OK.
I'll go ahead and put my intro here for those joining in.
I'm 26 and DH is 27. We are high school sweethearts but didn't start dating until the very end of senior year. We have a 2yo DD who is a ball of energy and two yappy but lovable shelties. I'm very much a laid back pregnant chick and broke a lot of the "rules" last time which I plan on repeating. I work in orthopaedics but I plan on SAH after this kiddo. I love to garden, cook/bake, and craft. EDD 2/8.
Hey all. I posted an intro already as well, but I suppose I'll tell you all a little about myself. I'm going to be the big 3-0 this year, DH is 31. We have two beautiful little ladies already. DD #1 will be 3 in September, DD #2 will be 1 in July. They keep me on my toes and it's so fun watching them start to really become playmates. Before having any children, we both wanted 2. Alas, after #2 was born, it was settled that we both were on board for #3. I'm thinking we'll be maxed out after this bean is born though! We also have a 5-year old black lab. He's amazing and so great with the kids.
I currently work part-time (20 hrs/week). For me, it's the best of both worlds. I work as an RN in surgery and love every minute (well, almost every minute) of it. I'd love to go back to school someday, but we'll see after this one is born!
In my free time (HA) I enjoy riding horses, running, and hiking. I like to bake but don't get around to it often. I'm currently panicking trying to think of what kind of vehicle (mini-van aside) will be suitable for 3 small children in carseats, while also being easy for me to get them in/out by myself. So if you have suggestions on that, let me know.

Hi ladies! I guess I go here now (WHAT?!) This is our first pregnancy, EDD is 2/16.
I'm 27, DH is 31. We've been married 3 years. We just moved to Chicagoland a few months ago for his job, but were Philly-area folk up until that point. I'm an elementary school teacher, but had to wait for my license to switch over to this state so I'm nannying for now and hoping to get back into the classroom this coming school year. He works in finance. I think our personalities fits the stereotypes of our jobs, respectively. I'm passionate about tacos, urban education, music, and being outside. I'm mourning the loss of wine and mass amounts of coffee, but welcome the change.
This was our last cycle before RE intervention (we had a consult last month after PCOS dx w/OB). I randomly O'ed WAAAAYYY earlier than I ever have since going off BCP 14 months ago, so that alone was exciting! The BFP was a very unexpected bonus.
Fx for sticky, healthy babies and uneventful pregnancies for everyone here!
I'm 28 (will be 29 this year) and MH is 30 and we live in Austin, TX. This is my first pregnancy EVARRR. I have had a whirlwind year in fertility with a PCOS and Hashimoto's diagnosis after 9-10 months of no cycles. I've been on metformin and levothyroxine since February and did Femara with TI this cycle - BOOM it worked?! I'm hoping this sticks... still very skeptical. But for now, I am here. Happy to meet y'all!
We have 2 cats that are awesome - Benny & Rabbit. I'm a dietitian and work in healthcare. I love to eat, though.
ETA: Due date! I am thinking it's 2/15/15. Based on LMP, it'd be 2/12/15, but I went in on CD 14 and definitely hadn't ovulated. The MD figured I would ovulate on CD17 based on the follie. So that's what I'm going with for now!
Hello! I'm akraus. I'm 27 and DH is 31. We just got married on 05/15/15. Although we've been trying for Baby #1 for about 8 months, we were really hoping and praying for a honeymoon baby, and it looks like we'll be getting one!! I just got my BFP this morning, and go in for my first OB appt. on 7/3. We are so excited to start our little family! The fur baby in my avatar is LouDog, a rescue I've had for about 3 years. We are midwesterners and love the St. Louis Cardinals. Looking forward to getting to know you all!!

Hi everyone! I am a long time lurker, first on TD and now here. I thought it might finally be time to jump in and say hello! My husband and I are both 30, and this will be baby #1 for us! I live in NYC, have two fur babies and love trashy TV (especially anything/everything Bravo)
Hi everyone! I've been lurking this board and I participated in the "cool kids" thread hoping for this to be my bmb AF isn't due until Friday but I tested today since I'm going out to dinner tonight and I wanted to know if I could have a drink or not. I got a faint line on a dollar tree and early response test so here I am! I haven't told anyone...I'll tell DH tonight when we get home after dinner. My DD just turned 1 on May 20th and I am a sahm to her, which has been amazing my EDD is 2/19. I'm so thrilled to give DD a sibling!

I need to tell someone so I am jumpin in here. I got a very faint positive this morning at 10dpo / 9dpiui. It was our first IUI since having my 15 month old son. I am so excited! I am planning a fun way to tell my husband since I feel like that experience gets diminished in the midst of infertility treatments.
Anyway, I am 32 almost 33. DH is 52. I have 3 older step sons. So this LO is actually number 5. We have been married for 5 years. We live in virginia. I am an engineer and DH is a SAHD. I am a serial lurker but looking forward to joining in!
I posted an intro on the main board, but will copy and paste what I wrote here so there's a record (see below).
I got my second BFP Friday morning. The first one ended in a MMC in September 2014 (discovered at my 8 week u/s). If that hadn't happened, I would have been due last month.
I'm really, really hoping this one will stick. I'm going in for betas tomorrow morning and Friday morning.
I'm 31, H is 34, and we live in MD. We have one furbaby named Sophie (pictured as my avatar). She's a Jack Russell/chihuahua and a total sweetheart. We think she's around 3 years old, but we're not sure because she's a rescue pup.
I'm nervous, but happy to be here with you ladies.
