Finally ready to intro! I am a SAHM to DD who just turned 2 and was conceived via IVF. After 9 months of trying, including a failed FET, failed IUI, and miscarriage, we got pregnant naturally with DC2.
Due 2/24/16. Still a little nervous after our loss, but happy to be here!
TTC since August 2011. After MFI diagnosis and IVF+ICSI, we had DD on July 6th, 2013.
TTC #2 since September 2014. 2 attempts at a FET, my body was never appropriately suppressed. Never made it to the ET. Got pregnant naturally-M/C Dec 14 at 6 weeks. FET 2/26/15...BFN 3/15/15: Repeated SA...higher numbers than with DD. 5/4/15: IUI#1 - BFN 6/18/15: BFP on a break cycle! Due 2/20/16.
Hi! I am 32, DH is 33, we have been together 15 years, married for 10. Our oldest son is 5, and our youngest son would be 23 months old this month. I had a complete placental abruption with no known cause when I was 31 weeks pregnant with our younger son, and he was born still. We are excited to be expecting baby #3! I will be having a RCS as both my boys were delivered via C-section. We are nervous and excited and hopeful and anxious and praying we get to bring this baby home! My due date is February 29, although my doctors have said they will deliver by 38 weeks at the latest. Excited to be joining you ladies!
DS1 born 6/5/10 at 40 weeks via emergency c-sect due to fetal distress and IUGR caused by placental insufficiency DS2 born still 8/28/13 at 31 weeks via emergency c-sect due to a complete placental abruption, cause unknown My Blog

Been lurking for a couple weeks and ready to post my intro! Came to these boards as a May-2014 mom to a baby girl and now and expecting #2. I am at 12 weeks now (due date 2/27) and found out a few days ago that baby #2 is also a girl. We also have a dog, a pitbull from the city pound who gets along famously with his little sister.
Other random info: I am a little older (38), we cloth diaper at home (disposables at daycare) and I already own too many strollers.

Hello— total newcomer here. 28 years old, just celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary, and expecting our first baby (a daughter) on or around February 9. Been mostly avoidant of all pregnancy forums but had this one well recommended to me, and enjoyed what I saw lurking, so I hope it is okay that I joined!
Baby was not a total shock but close; had just been discussing the possibility of kids by age 30 and one reckless / boozy evening lead to a positive pregnancy test this past Father's Day. Realize this is a gift in and of itself and we are very joyful, even if the timing was not as initially planned!
We live in a rural area, husband is from the UK but we live in my home state of Texas now. Life includes a lot of dogs, horses, and chickens but I've kept my riskier hobby of riding to zero during pregnancy! First of many sacrifices, I'm sure.
I'm looking forward to knowing more about everyone's pregnancies and the like.
Expecting our first daughter Feb 9, '16. Married for 6 years to a UK native, now living in a quiet part of Texas. Graduate student working in animal industry and youth development.
I have been creeping here and the bump for a while but noticed some people's sigs with the same due date so here is an introduction! I wasn't finding much happening over on the pregnancy board and then I discovered here!
Hi everyone!!
I'm a Lindsey and 24, DH is soon to be 29, married in 2013(young bride!), BFP at the end of May! Beyond excited for baby, and wish I would get to stay at home but grateful nonetheless that I work for a good company who has some paid maternity! We are also parents to one little kitty who is very photogenic. Now just waiting for EDD 2/7/16 to get here! Sidenote: non-pregnant women in my office are scared to "drink the water" because 5 of about 15 people here are currently pregnant!

Hullo! I've wandered over here from the BBC Feb 16 board after several recs from my group of TB March 2012 mamas (I have loved getting to know those ladies over the years). You guys seem like a great bunch and I'm looking forward to going through this pregnancy and beyond with you too!
So, I'm Michelle, DH and I are early/mid 30s and have been married since 3/2007. I'm due 2/25 with baby #3 (a surprise/oops!) but two overdue babies make me expect a March delivery. My youngest daughter (Lilly Emerald) will turn 2 on 2/22 and oldest girl (Adalynn Jade) will be 4 on 3/20. Our girls are the bomb. So, we'll have 3 under 4 for a few weeks at least- HALP ME i mean, yeeeyyy!
We own and fix up a 1940s farmhouse in the country between Chicago and SW Michigan along the big lake. My H keeps bees and fruit trees and my girls can usually be found in the yard catching toads and fireflies (see, I told you our girls were the bomb). I sometimes SAH and sometimes teach college biology part time at the local university campus.
Oh, and were TEAM GREEN!
PS: I am desperately seeking a birth buddy who's due in Feb but thinks they'll maybe have the baby in early March... any takers? I don't want to be the last, last, last Feb mama to hold my squish! But, I'll take one for the team if I must. PPS: Who is the DW fan who's uploaded the awesome David Tennet emojis?! Can we be friends?
Welcome mlmiu! My sister had two very overdue babies (8 days and then 9 days) and her third came the day before his due date. So you never know!
As for the emojis, there are lots of Whovians on the boards and the admins are very lovely ladies who keep this place awesome. Same reason we have Harry Styles emojis.

One Direction memes would be the opposite of torture for me.

I know, but we're new friends so I thought I'd be generous.
mlmiu, I just got on my computer and saw your siggy. I'm kinda interested in the "accidental water birth" story.
GIRL. So basically the end of labor came insanely fast. I was like 3.5/4cm when I got to the hospital around 9p/10p, walked and rested and finally went into the tub to labor (tub is my last ditch coping effort before epidural) around 4am and I was 5cm. Figured we were in for the long haul. Baby was born 45mins later. I think I hit transition about 25-30mins after getting in the tub. I had asked for the IV so I could get my epi when I got out of the tub, and shortly after that, shiz got real as they say. The nurse tried to check me in the tub but could only feel the bulging bag of waters, told me I needed to get out of the tub but it was too late, I had no bodily control. So they start draining the water in the tub, my water breaks, I'm just writhing around moaning like "what is happening with my body?" - I didn't feel the need to push yet so I didn't realize how far along I was. My mom: "you need to breathe" Me: "breathe and push it breathe and don't push?" Chorus of voices around the tub: "push! that's the head! Push!"
...and she came out in two pushes. I was SUPER confused. It was like running a marathon with no mile markers and all of a sudden they tell you "oh, that was the finish line" I'm pretty sure I said "so can I still get that epidural?" Also, my poor midwife didn't make it b/c it was SO fast at the end. And, without her there the hospital staff was SUPER freaked out that I had delivered in the tub, which is against policy, so they took baby ASAP and made me climb out of tub and waddle over to the bed, HOLDING my own clamped and cut umbilical chord, so the doc could examine me. It was crazy. But also, kind of amazing and I sort of want another water birth now. And that's how you have an accidental water birth.
Hey everyone! I've been lurking but had my first appt today and we have a HB so I thought I'd intro!! DH is 26 I am 25 we have 2 boys N'11 and A'14 so this makes #3 due 2/15/16. We're so excited for this addition to our family! I had a c/s with both boys so most likely will do the same with this one. I start an RN program in August along with working full time and being a full time mommy so we definitely have a full plate but we just enjoy the ride :-)
So glad I didn't have to have that 3rd C/S!! Not gonna lie makes me feel like superwoman when I am telling people IRL! 😊
Hi everyone! I've been lurking this board and I participated in the "cool kids" thread hoping for this to be my bmb AF isn't due until Friday but I tested today since I'm going out to dinner tonight and I wanted to know if I could have a drink or not. I got a faint line on a dollar tree and early response test so here I am! I haven't told anyone...I'll tell DH tonight when we get home after dinner. My DD just turned 1 on May 20th and I am a sahm to her, which has been amazing my EDD is 2/19. I'm so thrilled to give DD a sibling!
It's so crazy to look back on this! It feels like just yesterday I found out I was pregnant with my first and now I have 2 wonderful and crazy girls
