madameovary The mixing BM and WCM had been the most successful for us. Daycare started 1/4 WCM to 3/4 BM in her bottles, then slowly transitioned to 1/2 and 1/2 and now is up to 3/4 WCM to 1/4 BM. Once we get to all WCM then I'll try to start moving away from warming it up and putting it in a bottle to putting it in a sippy cold. One step at a time for us, since straight sippy WCM wasn't working at all.
If you don't do bottles, I would try pumping and putting some in a sippy to see how that goes, and then slowly adding WCM to the sippy until your LO is used to the taste?

madameovary, Do you offer solids before nursing ever? I'd try and offer a lunch first when he's definitely hungry and then a little after he eats offer milk (either breast or boob). When we made this switch he solids intake increased. That may also help how often/much he's nursing which you can start to replace with sippys.

Thank you all so much! I usually offer solids before milk at lunch, but can definitely make more of an effort at breakfast and dinner. I also have a little bit of frozen milk hoarded away, not sure what I've been saving it for, especially since most of it reaches it's shelf limit in the next couple of months.

We are only nursing at wake up and bed time at this point, however any minute now I'm ready to drop the bedtime nursing session. I stopped pumping around June 18th or so, sweet relief!! The rest of the day we do WCM in sippy cup. I offer it with meals/snacks and try and get her to drink 14 total oz during the day. I've been slacking a little on the water but she just started drinking out of my camelbak so I think I'm going to buy her a little kid version and just keep it around the playroom and when we go out and she can drink whenever.
That sounds difficult. :/ I'm hoping that by 12 months her gut works thinks out!!
Did she have issues with her formula or your bm? C is dairy intolerant but when I bf I couldn't have dairy either.
She was on soy formula and is now on organic soy milk. I'm going to talk to the pedi about other options as well.
What brand of soy are you using? I had bought two of the 8th generation brand, because that was all the store had. I realized that was sweetened so I switched to Silk Organic Unsweetened. But now he's having crazy diarrhea. Im not sure if its a virus or the switch in soy.

We are using silk organic as well. She's definitely adjusting to it. She was constipated a few days, pooping a lot other days. Never any messy diapers though.
