I usually buy Haagen Dazs, which is an expensive habit. I like plain chocolate best. In a cone.
But my favorite thing in the world is a Friendly's Reese's pieces sundae. Growing up I loved the kids' version, their clown head sundae (vanilla ice cream in a dish, with a cone on top of the ice cream and whipped cream on the sides to make it look like a clown.. they also buried chocolate sauce and Reese's pieces underneath the ice cream). So delicious and fun. Sometimes I still make my own.
I miss Friendly's!!!! We used to go all the time. There aren't any here in GA but when I go visit NJ, Myrtle Beach, or FL I enjoy a cone head!
I love ice cream. I love the variety of flavors. However I really don't eat much at once - an entire half gallon can last me months if DH doesn't like the flavor - so I feel like it is a big commitment to choose just one flavor for so long. I have legitimately been so overwhelmed by all the choices at the grocery store that I have given up and walked away without any because I just couldn't decide.
I worked at Coldstone's for 4 years as a teenager and could eat/sample all the ice cream I wanted- it was heaven. My favorite flavors from there were Marshmallow and Jello Chocolate Pudding. I prefer chewy additions to crunchy ones- ie. chunks of brownie over chocolate chips.
There is a Carvel in the plaza I work in that has Nutella ice cream with the "crunchies" swirled in- I like to add banana.
