UO: Numbers people should do numbers, and words people should do words.
I have an accounting client trying to tell me "the punctuation is wrong" in an article I wrote for them. >.<
I have a finance degree and I work in Communications. Can we be both???
I have a communications degree and I work in finance! I always just say commercial real estate though so no one assumes I am exceptional at math. I am not.

I did. And I made a big long post about what I thought it said as commentary on racism and how Louis was potentially an ally to women and POC through some of his comedy.
Then someone told me he's being accused of sexually harassing fellow female comedians on tour, exposing his junk to women, and other nasty stuff. Then my head exploded.

LovesMeSomeCake nobody has to watch a skit to know that mild racism is wrong. For fuck's sake.
^Also that. To watch that skit (or not watch it) and think that agreeing with or using the term "mild racism" is okay is missing the point... missing many points, actually.

SheilaTheTank, starbuck27, total DD! I thought you couldn't delete without leaving a trace of the post, at least. Or is that only if you try to DD a thread you started?
UO or at least UO for joy: Pretty much nothing about other people's eating grosses me out. Like, sitting at a table while people chew BBQ ribs with their mouths open and talk about sewage and fingernail clippings would not ruin my appetite. Is it terrible manners? Yes. Would I judge people a little for it? Yes. Would I ever do it myself? Never.
But I could fall asleep in a disco and eat dinner in a pig pen. Nothing will stand between me and my food + sleep.
Yumm... sausage, egg and chess with bacon and pancakes in the side im so hungry now and yes I would eat all of the. I think breakfast for dinner is a must now.
Since we are back to racism. I was at a meeting and we were trying to think of an artist, and this lady says, it is the ethnic lady with frizzy hair. When questioned on it, she said it is just best to call everyone that isn't white ethnic so people don't get upset. I told her that if she calls them by their NAME then they are not likely to be upset, not fucking ETHNIC! FFS!!!

I hope this isn't a UO: A group of 4 people is dining together. One diner had 4 drinks and another diner had no drinks. If the person who racked up $50 more on drinks says "should we just split it?", that person is totally rude and ridiculous. My friend's new boyfriend did that last night and I am still mad about it.
ETA: meaning, split the total bill evenly among the 4 people.

I understand sometimes kids want whatever you're eating/drinking. But I will not drink after a small child. Everytime I have given a drink to a child, it has ended up with bits of stuff in it. Nope. If I give it to them, it's for keeps. Don't want it back.
I also think I shouldn't have to give my food or drink to a child just because it's a child.
Maybe my opinion will change once I have them, but I doubt it.

Tracy Ellis Ross has you covered, gif-wise:
ETA: I just started watching Blackish, and it is gif-rich. I will be using a lot of gifs from this show, methinks.
