Have barely read. Lots of beer, got new couches and had to rearrange everything 400x to find the right fit. And more beer. I hate Seinfeld, wish more places allowed dogs but understand why not. Forget what else.
I have an after Christmas work party tomorrow at 6, about 40 min away from home. I'm off work before4. Should I come home to get changed and help with kids for an hour or should I let h deal with them alone and go shopping, and go directly to the party? Normally this would be a no brained but he hasn't had them alone in a while and DS is in a climbing/hurting himself phase. What would you do?

direct to the party. Hubby will figure things out. He is a parent too and can make it work.

In a similar position recently, I tried to go home to get some face time with DD but she turned my leaving into a big whine fest and made it even harder for DH to get her focused on the bedtime routine. And that's just one kid. He was like OMG just go. And I was super late. I vote shop and go directly to party.
