Ugh... Anxiously waiting for results from second betas and my thyroid. Got them drawn yesterday so should hear today. I'm holding off on buying belly balm and a pregnancy book until I know!

britterrss - do you mind if I ask you about your "thin" PCOS diagnosis? I got diagnosed with "atypical" PCOS, and I'm just wondering if they're the same/similar? Feel free to PM if you don't want to reply here :-)

Sure no problem. I'm just not overweight, and I think for the majority of women with PCOS, it causes them to be overweight and/or have trouble losing weight, so much so that my diagnosis was missed for years because I "don't look like I have PCOS."
Also, for typical PCOS, it can often be greatly improved with weight loss, a healthy diet, and exercise - however, my doctor told me I needed to gain weight and I was already eating really healthfully. So I guess with thin PCOS (I've also seen it written Lean PCOS), it can be more tricky to treat. I was put on Metformin even though I'm not insulin resistant "just to see if it helps" and took Femara to induce ovulation -- which worked!

Thanks! It sounds like the same thing as my "atypical" PCOS. I wasn't super impressed with my RE though, so I took everything he said with a handful of salt ... but interestingly it was never brought up that I should *gain* weight (I am "under"weight), because I specifically asked about that (DH was convinced if I gained wait it would normalize my cycles). Metformin was not even on the table and they were just going to clomid-me up. Thankfully I didn't have to do that, because like I said, I was not impressed with my RE.

If you google thin PCOS or lean PCOS there's actually a lot of information out there... if you're curious. As for me, I cannot wait until the 1st trimester is over because then I can get off of this godforsaken Metformin!!! (I really don't think it helped, I think it was the Femara.) And honestly, I am no longer "under"weight, just at the low end of normal and my periods were still gone for like 10 months. I think it's just a weird hormonal imbalance situation.

Yeah, I remember reading a lot of that when I was TTC DS. I got soooooooooooo lucky though. After my cycles returned after DS, they've been *normal*. I haven't had "normal" cycles in well over a decade, so it's stunning. I hope pregnancy kicks your hormones into their proper alignment too!
I'm kind of on my own today at work, and I can't leave my desk unless someone else is here to answer phones. Of course with all the water I'm drinking I'm peeing like every hour. So I'm sitting here holding it as long as I can so I'm not calling someone to come cover for me constantly, hoping no one will catch on. Booooo.

Are you incredibly thirsty as well? I can't seem to get hydrated. It's driving me nuts. There is no possible way this tiny ball of cells could be using up so much water. WTF body?
I called the nurse for my new OB to see if I need to do a second blood draw and she said no but that there going to put me on progesterone suppository twice a day. She said that although my levels are at 13 which is good, he would like them to be higher. I'm new to this part of pregnancy is this normal because I didn't have to do this last time with my other OB?

If your progesterone is at 13, I can understand the suppositories. While it's not necessarily "too low," a lot of OBs (at least from what I know and have heard) like progesterone to be above 20.

YES. I am not a water drinker, never have been. I started drinking water more the past couple cycles to help with cm, but it was still a forced drinking. Now I'm drinking water constantly, like I actually WANT to drink it. It's bizarre. Drink, pee, eat, drink, pee, eat, test-squeeze boobs, eat. This is now my life.

oh, ok.
Thank you
This is what the "normal" range is for 1st tri: 11.2-90.0 ng/mL (clicky for more reading)

I've read that it's all related to your body gearing up for increased blood production.

So very normal.
Well this is good then. Sometimes I feel like I only have half the blood I'm supposed to (I have the worst (read: nonexistent) circulation ever.. If I get a new nurse, I always sit back and laugh as she stares at my blood pressure reading wondering how I'm alive.)

I feel like I'm being a love-tit fairy. I started dealing them out almost as just an acknowledgment that I read your post. I promise I'm not crazy - just really excited to be on a BMB LOL.
