Hi! Another 9/30 EDD hopping on the OCT board. Copying my intro from PGAL/carrying a rainbow so for those who've "been there, read that" sorry for the duplication. Look forward to getting to know everyone.
A little about me. I am in my late thirties and live in New England with H, DD and our 3 rescue dogs. I started running 2 years ago and I have 5 - 5ks, 1 half marathon and one injury to show for it. It is the only exercise I have truly not grown tired of so it is what I do to stay healthy... AKA to combat my inner junkfood junkie. I also like to read quite a bit, it is more relaxing to me than than tv (although I watch quite a bit of that too...real housewives of anywhere please).
My bump life. I am still in touch with ladies from my DD's BMB and I truly loved the experience so when I got my BFP Jan of last year I joined my new BMB excited to get to know them. My stay there was short lived but they were amazing and even did a tribute thread to all of us who had a loss from the board. From there I moved over to the miscarriage board and they really helped me work through the deepest of my grief when the pain was so new and raw. When I was ready I then moved over to to meet the amazing women of TTCAL and even reunited with some of my BMB ladies in the October check in. I can't begin to describe how the women on these boards made me feel, safe, understood, cared for, I would not be where I am emotionally without them and can not thank them enough.
