I slept until 8:45 which is really late for me. It was nice!
Now I'm trying to make a grocery list and menu for the week but Anchovy has decided to demand belly scratches on top of my papers and pen. I have never met a cat who liked belly scratches as much as this guy, and it's really only been the last month or so that he has gotten really demanding about it. He's 14, I'm not going to deny him belly scratches!
Then it's off to the grocery store, laundry time, some very light cleaning (probably just vacuuming and a little swiffering), then I'm going to read a lot of Outlander and watch the GoT finale. Booooo it's almost over already!

7:25 and I'm still in bed. Have to get out eventually as I'm working at 10. Boo! Good news is DH and I get a date night tonight. Going out for tacos and then to the Entourage movie.
DS is sick so he was up most of the night, therefore coffee is my best friend. I also have finals this week so I am trying to squeeze in studying. Also, I mentioned to my dad that since the baby will be born during flu season, if he wants to babysit or anything I would like him to get his flu shot. He got pissed off and went off on me saying that I can't keep his grandchildren away from him just because I'm paranoid about the flu. I just can't with this shit today.

I slept almost until 8 am. Then I just migrated to my recliner. I wish breakfast and coffee would just magically appear. Or DH wouldn't always sleep past me and make me some food!

DH left for a week this morning. I have strong emotions about this. However, thanks to meds, my nausea is a lot better. DD and I have a birthday party this afternoon. We went to target this morning to buy a gift and some other randoms, because target. Now, I'm wondering if I can get away with napping in the recliner while she binge watches Jake.

I feel your pain onyx. MH had a huge issue at first with me wanting people who were going to be spending extended periods of time with the baby to be vaccinated. He got over it, but really…? If you step foot into a doctor's office anywhere from Sept.-Feb. they'll peer pressure the shit out of you for not getting one and that's without a baby in the picture. Give me a break.

Why is it so hard for people to understand that the flu is dangerous for newborns? And so many other things that adults just shrug off as a whatever cold thing can be horrible for them? Get your vaccinations, wash your hands, then you can visit the child. You are not doing anything that will hurt you, but by not doing these things, you could hurt the child.
It's 8:15, and so far I've done a load of laundry amd watched an episode of Nurse Jackie. Next I make oatmeal while I finish my grocery list. Then homework and packing up my classroom. Maybe later I'll take some things to storage so I can make room for the crib we are bringing home on Tuesday. Sounds like a boring day.

I'm impressed. I got tired just reading this post.

This morning I would like to eat all the things, with a side of all the things. Now I'm watching the Lost World. I completely forgot Vince Vaughn was in the movie.
YOU. GUISE. I slept all night! From 11 to 6. I didn't get up to pee ONCE. I can't remember the last time that happened.
I've never been so envious of anything in my entire life. I got up seven times. SEVEN. Actually now, even though you don't know me and this is super weird, I feel like I did all of my pee breaks as well as yours last night.
So, you're welcome for your glorious uninterrupted night of sleep.
It's 8:59 here. I'm drinking coffee while watching Fools Gold and snuggling with my pooches. It's these lazy days that I miss cable (I don't even have internet for streaming). I think in an hour or so I'll go swimming or, as H calls it, being a human submarine. So weird.

Still in bed. My ass is hanging out because my dog is sleeping sideways. Is 8am too early for ice cream? Let me know.
Just put it on waffle and call it brunch.
No lie, my MIL used to do this when she was out of dinner ideas when MH was a kid. He suggested it one night, only realizing that it may not have been the healthiest option after I looked at him incredulously.

I fucking love this movie. I don't really know why, because it's pretty cheesy, but its one of my go to movies when I'm having a shitty day.

We were supposed to do yardwork today but it's pouring so we went shopping instead. Now I feel like it would feel better to just rip my spine out. And the lady at McDonalds just told me the milkshake machine is broken. Whomp whomp.
