Moms who already know the sex

If you had a very distinct feeling one way or another what the sex of your baby was, was your gut-instinct correct? 


Mine has been all 3 times so far.


The OWT my mom relies on is going directly against my gut instinct and I am really hoping she is wrong because she is obnoxious about it.


So, what say you?

We found out with DD1 and were team green with DD2. We'll be team green again this time.

I was convinced DD1 was a boy. I didn't believe she was a girl until she was actually born. I just swore the A/S had to be wrong. Nope. With DD2, I didn't have a strong feeling one way or another. I think boy this time, but we won't know for awhile.

I had been on a roll. I guessed 4 friends correctly and I just knew mine was a little girl. Never once in my mind did I think I was having a boy. Well my gut instinct was wrong for myself. I'm gonna have a little boy come Oct.

I won't find out until the 24th (hopefully), and my gut feeling keeps changing haha. At first I was convinced it was a girl, then everyone started saying it was a girl so I switched to boy. Now I'm back to girl. I just want to find out already!

I'm a FTM and I had a gut instinct, pretty much from the beginning, that baby was a Girl, and the Informaseq results say I'm right (we have the A/S "confirmation" in a couple of weeks - and I doubt I'm in the .00000001% that the test is wrong for).

I had a dream fairly early on (I think around 5-6 weeks) that I had a baby and she was a girl (she wasn't actually IN the dream). Everything I *felt* said girl.

It will definitely be interesting to see how it goes (if I'm lucky) next time around.

Oh - and a weird/eery story: When my Mom was pregnant with my brother (1984, military - so one ultrasound and NOT to find out the sex), my Dad had a dream about halfway through the pregnancy in which his dead Grandmother visited him and said something to the effect of "I know you're very nervous, but I want you to know that everything is going to be wonderful and that Gayle (Mom) is going to be just fine and you're going to have a healthy baby BOY."

My Dad says he woke up the next day and told my Mom about it and was 100% sure about it - just from the dream. It was correct, and he had an eerily similar dream around the same time when my Mom was pregnant with me.

Funny how that stuff happens sometimes.

I had pretty strong feelings that DD1 was a girl and, obvs, I was right. DH is also convinced that he is "doomed" to be surrounded by females for the rest of his life since we're an all girl household aside from him (1 cat, 2 dogs, me, and DD).

I have no feels about this one yet. My BFF thinks it's a boy, but that's just what she wants it to be.

Never had a feeling about the first three but the way I was gaining weight/carrying left me 90% sure it was a girl. I was right.

With DS I felt boy the whole time. I would use "he" instead of "she" and things like that. This one was the same way and our early scan said boy. My a/s is tomorrow so we will see!

True story. Because I was Team Green, my whole office had a pool guessing the sex. In the last few weeks I had people commenting on how I was carrying, what my belly looked like, what my hips looked like, how it had to mean this or that. -_- No. Just, no.

I was sure I was having a girl especially after the doctor told us it looked like a girl at our NT scan.

This is me! It depends on the day. Today I think boy. I feel like I deserve a girl because I was a shithead to my mom so I will get a daughter that will be awful to me as a teen. After our first U/S at 10 weeks, I kept saying "he." DH thinks it's a girl and always has. I really don't even know.

I totally believed I was going to have boy. I even referred to baby as "he" when talking. And it's definitely a girl, lol. Terrible intuition I guess

A friend of mine had a baby shower at work where they actually played the "guess how big her stomach is!" game with the crepe paper or string or whatever.  Not. Okay.

My initial feeling was boy. Early on in the pregnancy I had a dream it was a boy, and even prior to pregnancy when I had baby dreams it was always a boy. My husband felt like it was a girl and I was pleased to be proven right, lol, only because we are competitive- we both would have been so happy with either sex.

However, I'm annoyed, probably irrationally, that so many of the wives' tales have been true so far because I truly believe they are all a load of crap and I don't want to lend to the credibility- the chinese calendar, the lack of vomiting, the lower heart rate, and even the way I'm showing so far.

I had no strong feelings either way. I had dreams where baby was a boy and dreams baby was a girl.

I also have had just as many people proclaim boy vs girl due to how I am carrying. Examples: you have terrible MS, must be a girl. Or your hips aren't any bigger, it must be a boy. Insert other predictions related to heartburn and carrying high.

It's a girl.

I've had dreams about baby, but I can never focus on him/her and, therefore, can't tell if it's a boy or a girl haha.

Last time I felt like it would be a boy, it was a boy, and Chinese Gender Chart was right. This time I feel like it's a boy, the Chinese Gender Chart say's it's a boy, but I have a girl name picked out. Not sure it makes a difference but the the dad of my two has two others that are both girls.

Also sometimes I wonder if some men are more equipped to have one sex over the other since they are the carriers of the x & y. In another thought are some women's eggs more choosy when it comes to which chromosome they want to accept.

The way you carry is entirely genetic. We all carry low in my family regardless of the sex. I carried all 3 of my girls low and WIDE.
