Where is this margarita made with everclear? I must have one.
Guise, we are supposed to get a winter storm. If I wake up to snow, alcohol is going in my coffee immediately. SNOW DAYYYYYYYYYYYY
The Mexican food place I went to on Sunday in Ft. Worth puts everclear in their margaritas. Deadly.
This might explain some margaritas I had at this one restaurant. We referred to them as roofaritas because if you had more than one you were going to dance on tables or lose clothes. If you had two, you were out. I had never heard of margaritas with everclear, but that would make sense now.
Someone find me a converter car seat which will actually fit in our car. Gah!!
Dianos are too tall and everything else is HUGE.
I have an easier solution. Find a car that will fit your carseat.
I missed the original post somehow, but starla487 we had the same problem. Magically, DH got the Britax Boulevard to fit in my car, but it was looking grim for a while!
Curse the rainbow loom and it's millions of small rubber bands. DD1 left her bag out, DD2 just found the rainbow bands... This is not including the ones on the couch and the ones that I swept under the cushions and into the abyss. And I'm making the toddler pick every single band up.
They are even worse in carpet and super annoying in the laundry!
Not cool. I would be pissed as well. So silly to act like that, and why would you not interact with your grandson because one of your other children didn't have a boy. That is childish and weird and SO unfair to your DS
Seriously. So. What are you doing go do/say?
I'm going to wait until my mom eventually says something about the baby and then I'm going to congratulate her on finally having a grandson.
Yeah. I feel like I wouldn't sweat it too much just yet. Did you ask him/her what you should do if baby doesn't self soothe, but instead gets agitated and cries? Our babies are still a little young for CIO...
I know that it's best to try to promote good habits early on, but things still change so quickly at this age. Two weeks ago I could lay DD down in her swaddle with her paci and she was out. Now she's refusing the paci altogether and I have to rock her to sleep (elfing sleep regression...).Two weeks from now who knows? I think you do your best to make sure the baby is safe, and then from there do what works best for your family.
Yeah she said that as long as he's just fussing and not full blown crying to just keep going in and help to soothe him via paci or talking to him and then leaving again. She said that if I get to 90 minutes or he has a full meltdown to stop and try to rock him/nurse him/anything else to get him to sleep at that point.
So mine said the same thing last week and I had the same reaction as you... But I did it anyway and she surprised me. She actually goes down really fast, barely fusses and it has helped her nap better. So maybe you'll get lucky?
Uh oh...LO has been sleeping 6-8 hour stretches for the past 3 weeks but now he's up after only 3...I really don't want to deal with a sleep regression...
That should be fun while you're studying for boards! What are your plans after residency? (I'm assuming you're finishing residency and taking your boards, and not taking recertification boards. Unless you're Doogie Howser.)
I'm not re certifying I'm taking family med boards in April then doing an obstetrics fellowship for a year. I signed on in a town of about 7,000 and will be doing full spectrum family med including deliveries and c-sections
Guise. What are the chances this fucking seahorse is going to burst into flames?? I tried hiding it to see if Layla noticed and she cried and cried. She loves that goddamn thing and sleeps with it every night.
I feel like I missed something here. Does this app skip posts like tb did sometimes?
No, it was a conversation from TB. Randoms, maybe, Emerald said that these seahorses have been known to catch on fire but there hasnt been a recall put out on them yet.
Scare # 2 for the day... I have to take a trip to Houston in March. There are NO direct flights from Milwaukee. I am scared about going more than 6 hours without pumping. Anyone else flying or traveling for work yet while pumping???
I have to travel for work soon as well and I'm pumping. Luckily I was able to get direct flights ( Chicago to Dallas). I'm bringing my manual pump to use at the airport just before boarding.
Would it be easier for you to drive to Chicago and then take a direct flight? OHare is just off of I-294/94 and you could pump in the car if needed.
I just bought a soft sided cooler that is designed to hold a 12 pack. I figure I will put it collapsed in my suitcase on the trip out and then carry it home.

How about pumping in the bathroom on one side for 5-10 min and then going back in for the other side later in the flight? I'm sure that Emerald has some good suggestions.
I'll probably have to go to Brazil in the next few months. I have no idea how I'm going to manage pumping logistics with a ~10 hr flight, time to the airport, pre-checkin time, immigration and drive to the hotel (>16 Hrs total)
