I'm watching my dog on the "doggy day care" camera....he's literally just standing there staring at all the other dogs playing and enjoying themselves. Money well spent.
frankenboom, LOVE the nursery! If we were having a girl I would have wanted to do something like that!
It was surprisingly easy to do (the appliques are removable so I could re-stick a couple of times) EXCEPT apparently it is natural human tendency to form a pattern - so I had to redo the first wall once I realized I'd done a pattern - I wanted them to look randomly placed.
OMG! How the hell do you pick diapers? DH and I were in Walmart and we decided we'd get a pack to go ahead and have a few already. But when we got to the diaper aisle it's like I was looking at chemistry or something! We had no idea which ones to pick.
ETA: My highest science was biology so chemistry would go way over my head. That's why I said that lol

I have no idea. We're planning on CDing and that opens a whole 'nother can of worms!
Didn't read because work and stuff...but is proboards being SUPER glitchy for anyone else??? It's really killing my buzz every time I want to procrastinate!

It keeps saying I have 2 unread messages. I don't. I keep checking. It's driving me nuts.

Just grab a small pack of newborn and 1s. You can't really know what will work until you try them. Get whatever's on sale until you have a variety, then after the baby comes and you figure out what you like, donate the rest to a shelter.

We have a thread over on September 2015 called "Stm+ Advice : Diapering"

Most CD companies offer a small' trial' package. We're going to get those and see which ones we like. We're looking at hybrids with disposable inserts and not planning to CD as a newborn, so we're all over planned for both CD and disposables.

Omg I'm on a bus (yukkk) to my doctors appointment and I swear this bus driver is trying to kill us
We're passing all the cars and he's swerving between lanes.
Send help
Ugh, I had a cab driver do that to me the other day when going home from the airport. He then missed my exit because he was too busy passing people which made the trip take longer than it would have if he had just driven like a normal person.

When I do disposables (we mostly cloth) I like Honest Co. and Babyganics.
Everyone has different preferences. Some people LOVE the Target brand and I HATED them. They didn't fit DD right and we had blowouts all the time. I was literally scared for her to poop in them. Needless to say, never bought again. Seventh Generation gave her a rash. (We had recurring yeast rash issues for a little while so I got to try quite a few sposies.)
Long story short - I would buy a couple different brands and sizes to start, but don't go too crazy. Also find out the store's return policy. Some places will always let you return/exchange unopened diapers for credit if you need a different size or brand in the future.
SheilaTheTank, I also had mad cramps for the first couple of weeks, especially weeks 4 & 5. Some of them were VERY period-like, and that combined with some discharge had me running to the bathroom every two minutes thinking the worst. Occasionally I had to take Tylenol to get some relief- the cramps were worse at night. Hope it lets up for you soon.

Thank you. This actually helps a lot. I just keep having to tell myself it's normal.
Yay I passed my GD test!! My MCH level are high though.
Anyone know what it is?
MCH is mean corpuscular hemoglobin...basically it means your red blood cells have more hemoglobin (Hb) in them than average. Hb is responsible for carrying oxygen around your body. If it's just an isolated finding, I wouldn't be worried. MCH levels can vary. If it's always been high, just ask your doctor. Sometimes it just means you need more folic acid or B12 (or 6? I can't remember off the top).

I was cramping a lot and had brown spotting today. I kept trying to tell myself this is all normal, even though it never happened before. I finally caved when to my OB to get checked out and all was ok. I hate being nervous and high strung being pregnant makes it all worse.

The next fucking person that fucking says that I look like I'm going to give birth any day now is going to be violently murdered by me. That is NOT a comforting thing to say to a FTM. This is especially not a comforting thing to say to a woman who wants a home birth. SHUT THE FUCK UP. STOP COMMENTING ON MY PREGNANCY. STOP MAKING WORDS WITH YOUR TALK-HOLE. OR I WILL MURDER YOU WITH A RAKE.
GD nausea. GD diclegis not working for me during the day. GD H being OOT or I would be taking a full dose of the stuff and sleeping all the time. GD thunder starting right before DD's bedtime, when I was going to crash, but now the dog will be right next to me in bed, keeping me up and making me sweaty and itchy.
