Random: I was watching the second Harry Potter movie, and when it got to the part where they pull the baby mandrakes out and they all squeal, my dogs lost it. They were running around, trying to figure out what was happening, looking all panicked. This does not bode well for when LO arrives...
Dear family and friends: I promise, I will tell you when baby gets here. We might not tell you the second he arrives, but I promise there will be an announcement - I won't be able to hold that in! Please, stop emailing, texting, and calling to ask. It's just pointing out he's not here yet and I'm uncomfortable (he's not due till tomorrow so this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone). I promise, you will know! Now please leave me alone - yours truly.
I appreciate all the baby gifts. I do. But if I get one more 3 month outfit I'll go crazy! I have started putting some of it aside to regift for future baby showers and baby presents. Seriously. 6m, 9m, heck 12m would be great. NO MORE 3 MONTHS AND NO MORE BLANKETS!!!!!!!!
Exchange for bigger sizes! That's what I've been doing with anything NB or 3-month. I've got 2 plastic bins filled with 6 month clothes that I got primarily from returning everything unnecessary. And the great thing is that BRU carries so many brands that they take most stuff back!

I am coming to terms with the fact that my dog is very old (15),and reaching her end. This is devastating to me, of course, and compounded by my hormones.

Oh honey I can't even imagine. I was at dinner at a friends house last night and her dog is fifteen and showing signs of age and I almost bawled over that...not even my dog.
I fell asleep on the couch for about 30 minutes and when I woke up, the house was clean...Seriously, the living room was spotless, my bedroom was cleaned up, the kitchen was clean and even the floor was swept!....There wasn't anyone here but me and the kids....
Yes, my 5-year-old cleaned my house!! He says, "Mommy, I decorated while you was sleepin' cause I knew you was sleepy"....He made me cry...No joke, my son is incredible!!

I can't wait to bust out my new K'Tan Breeze. This thread has me thinking I'll try it out tonight on my dog walk as soon as DH gets home from his Father's Day escape. I sent him to the pub with pals during nap time this afternoon, hoping that is a satisfactory gift in addition to the new baby. My heart goes out to everyone losing loved ones and especially four legged friends. Have to AW our traditional family outing to our favorite dog bar upon release from the hospital yesterday. We came home, everyone took naps, and when we woke up the rain we've been bombarded with all week finally cleared up so we headed out. It was a perfect first evening as a family of 4 + 4 paws.
