I'm a lurker from September... But I thought I'd pass this on. Get a free can of formula with the code Goodstart, as long as you are a part of Amazon mom.
It's always great to have samples! You never know if you'll need them. They don't usually expire for over a year, I think. I held on to mine for a few months, then gave them all away! It was nice to do that for someone. Formula is expensive!

Can someone explain the benefits (aside from perks like this, I guess) to Amazon Mom? I don't have Prime and maybe it's because I don't order enough from Amazon and I should. HALP me.
I was wondering about the expiration when I saw the email this morning. Good to know they're usually good for at least a year ... order placed!
Last time Amazon had this offer, they sent out formula that expired 4 months out. They then resent me another free box of ones that had a year expiration. Amazon is pretty good about stuff like that.
Oh awesome I'm hoping I don't need it (but I'm taking ALL the free samples), so if it turns out it expires soon, I'll give it to someone who can use it now.

The samples I got during my pregnancy with DD expired anywhere from Sept '14 through early 2015. She was born in December '13. I didn't get offers from amazon specifically, but that was just my experience.

I signed up when I got my Prime in January. Since then I have claimed a few good deals that are exclusive to Amazon mom, coupons and of course when I started stocking up on diapers the 20% discount on them was helpful. Plus when you have Amazon mom and get your registry completion discount its 15% not just 10%.
I got an email about a car seat discount, added coupon at the time for Graco products they provided and I ended up paying $64 for a $130 car seat and had free shipping thanks to my Prime. For me that was a great deal.
H has me added on to his prime account. I have to pay $99 to get a Amazon Mom. Whomp whomp, can't have both.
I don't understand. Shouldn't you be able to get Amazon Mom for free in conjunction with your prime account?
I thought so since I'm only an addition to H's prime account, but it says since I'm already privvy to 2 day shipping perks that I have to pay the full yearly subscription if I want a mom account. And I don't really want a $99 can of formula, so I guess I'll hold off and decide if I feel like shelling out once we get closer to baby's arrival.

Just sign H up for Amazon mom. That's what I did. MH has our prime account and I just use it when I need. They didn't question who signed up for mom with our account and H has an obviously male name.
Wouldn't he also have to pay though? He is our Prime account holder. Prime allows you to add five additional people to your prime account, so he has me added on that way.

No. Amazon Mom is free with your prime membership.
Good to know! I'll let him sign up then. He's better at spending money anyways, lol. I'll let him do all the ordering.
