This is going to get rambly. I apologize in advance.
DS is 7 months and has been in daycare since 3 months. He's never been big into any of the bottles I've tried and has sort of reverse cycled. We do a bf session in the am. He has a bottle that he barely nips on mid morning with some oatmeal(mixed with bm and a fruit puree) the solids were their idea at 6months since he was refusing the bottle. We nurse at lunch. He nips a second bottle mid afternoon. We nurse right when we get home and about 6 more time between then and morning.
Daycare wants him to be eating a toddler lunch by 12months but they usually start trying around 10.5 months. So my question is...When should I stop coming in at lunch? or should I try coming in later at the mid afternoon feed? Still show up at lunch to bf before his table food?
By the time he makes the switch to the toddler room I'm going to go ahead and let them give him wcm and just bf when we are together. That means I'll need to start weaning him off my drop ins eventually. I'm probably really overthinking this.

I would still nurse at lunch until 1. BM is the main nutrient source until a year. A 10.5 month old shouldn't be cut off from a milk source for their convenience. @ 11.5 month would be different.

I completely agree with this.
Agree, keep that noon nurse until you replace bm with WCM. He can still be offered the solids meal.
