Pregnancy related or not.
Just finished Unbroken. Starting a quick Jodi Picoult book. On the waiting list at the library for Outlander. Need to start Fall of Giants that is bedside.

I'm rereading all of the Princess Diaries books because I just found out there's a new adult one. My challenge is to read all 10 of the YA ones by next Saturday.
I finished one and a three quarters already and I started last night. I love my nook.

I usually have 4-5 books going/in progress at a time, depending on what's happening.
Currently re-reading the Mallory series by Carol O'Connell. In Winter House at present. It's dragging - not my favorite of the series, and I may skip on to the next.
Also reading 123 Magic again.
Chapters in The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding.
HP and the Order of the Phoenix
And thinking I may revisit the Narnia Chronicles this weekend.
I'm currently debating if I dive right in to the last GoT book (which has been sitting on my nook for a number of months) or if I need to go back and reread the whole damn series.
We watched the maze runner movie the other day and I was thinking about reading that series as the movie was more entertaining than I anticipated...

I have the entire series on digital if you want me to email it to you! It's a series that I adore and think everyone must read!
Currently reading Hypnobirthing: The Mongan Method and halfway reading Ina May's Guide to Childbirth.
How did you like it? I've been through a medicated labor (epi) once, but I really liked the message about not having fear in childbirth (mongan method) and the techniques for labor positions, breathing, and pushing. Plus, the recordings are super relaxing. I don't think I've been able to make it through the whole recording without falling asleep!
I'm currently in book six of the Wheel Of Time series. It's okay, but not as thrilling as Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archives series or Patrick Rothfuss' Name of the Wind.
Just finished the Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) series for the second time and it was just a trashy and wonderful as the first go around.
Just started Winter People by Jennifer McMahon yesterday. I read Promise Not to Tell by her as well and it was creepy and fantastic. If you like scary stories that aren't bloody/gory then you should check her out.
It's kind of ... duh. Nothing I couldn't have gotten from the BF board here or other people I know who have tandem nursed.
I was thinking about getting the other one but it's hard to find.
Have you ever gone to a LLL meeting? I borrowed a copy from them.
I wasn't hugely impressed, though. I found that a lot of what I struggled with was so much easier to just talk through with the few women at the meetings that had BTDT.

LOVE Rothfuss, although he is starting to get into GRRM territory with the length of time I've been waiting for the darn last book. I would also say that WoT gets worse and worse as it goes along - I was curious how Brandon did with the last book(s?) after Jordan died but not enough to actually go pick it up. I liked Sanderson's Stormlight, Mistborn and even the Elantris book was pretty neat.

Yes, He needs to speed it up and get the next book OUT. Seriously great and addicting series!
In book 6, it's interesting but I go a few days without reading it. I'm just waiting for something to actually HAPPEN. I have no idea if I will finish the next several books, even though I heard Brandon Sanderson's writing was AMAZING in the last. I'll beleive it, because all of his other books are great.

I'm really enjoying it. It's been a great way for me to help focus on and release my fears, some of which have nothing to do with the actual act of giving birth. I love the stories that they share about women who have a stalled labor, let go of whatever their "hang up" is (struggling relationship, financial troubles, etc), and then their labor picks up again.
I'm reading this in combination with taking the classes with my husband. Our doula is teaching them and I sort of feel like she's going above and beyond the class to really give pointers and tips on how to relax and prepare for everything.
Yes! I agree!
TMI, but have you been practicing the J-breathing when you poo? Mongan mentions to do this every time you go to get used to the movement. Apparently bearing down to push is a no-no. I have been doing it for months now, since I finished the book.

I think I made it to book 9 or 10 and then just couldn't get through it. it really felt like "i've got a certain number of books in the contract so I have to fill up 800+ pages with these 2 ideas I have"
