Just had my u/s to follow up on my spotting and we saw the tiny little sac today. I am only 5w3d so there wasn't a lot to see, but we saw something! 2 weeks till my official dating scan.
I had my appointment this morning. Both my babies have heartbeats!!
I'm 6 weeks, 3 days and both measured as 6 weeks, 2 days. Both heartbeats were in the 120s. I'm waiting for my doctor to call with the official report, but things seemed to look good! Next appointment isn't until July 13. So I'll be anxiously waiting until then!
I had my first ultrasound today. I'm 5 weeks along. Not much to see but doctor was checking for my sac. I go back next Wednesday to hear the heartbeat.
Curious newb: I know every doctor is different, but looking for an average idea: How long was this first appt (It seems like some have a quick confirmation and then leave, and others are getting the full "First OB Patient" visit)? Do they do the u/s first and then the rest of the visit based on what they see? What else should I maybe be expecting?
ETA: alwaysnc4me, so glad for a healthy and good news appointment!
I have 2 different experiences. With my daughter (midwifery group) I had a full on appointment that lasted roughly an hour and 15 minutes that included an exam, pap (I believe), weight and height check, bp check and scripts for labs and a dating u/s.
For this kiddo (new state so a new practice, all OBs), I went in and did a urine test, a dating u/s, met with a doc to make sure I didn't have any questions and was sent on my way. The first real appointment is in a few weeks, which I'll be between 11 and 12 weeks.
You guys! There's a baby! I'm measuring 6 weeks 5 days! Holy ovulating a week after you had an 18mm follie - how's that even possible?! We saw and heard the heartbeat - 142.88 bpm and she said everything looks great!
As an aside because I feel like we've been talking about this a lot: I also found out my OBGYN clinic does ultrasounds at EVERY visit. They also do them at all gyn annuals. My doc is a firm believer in technology and she does all of them herself, so it won't ever be a tech. I guess they don't bill insurance for them every time or something weird like that because I've had a lot done with the fertility stuff and the preg confirmations and have never had to pay more than my copay.
Anyway, we are over the moon and the stress can finally subside... If not just a little!

I totally just teared up reading that for you. So so relieved for you and happy! Congrats! Crazy follies. Also, love the "baby!!'" label

Goodluck to all my fellow 7/2'ers tomorrow! I'll be thinking of you all and sending good vibes and healthy heartbeats!
I am SUCH a bundle of nerves. I feel like I'm going to puke, but it's from nerves and not hormones this time. I'm too embarrassed to tell you the insane "What if" thoughts that have crossed my mind today (it may have had something to do with comparing statistics to the string of great news I've been seeing on this board and where that leaves me). Yikes.
Anyways, everything but my legs are crossed for you guys, because I've got a date with a dildo cam. ;-)

I just got back from my appointment. There is a baby in there! Measuring 6 weeks, 4 days and with a heart rate of 117 bpm.
The nurses decided to bring me back in in two weeks for another scan and to do my bloodwork then. They said that is standard practice when the dating ultrasound is less than 7 weeks. I know that isn't true, because that isn't what they did last time, and they are just bringing me in again because of my history. I am ok with that.
