Just back from getting 5 stitches in my finger, cut it on a ceramic bowl that flew out of my hands. Now I need to see a hand surgeon to rule out tendon damage! Happy freaking Monday
OMG that is the worst. I had to do that too when I sliced through my thumb with an exacto, but I had no nerve damage so FX that you don't have any either.

And me to the shitty Monday pile. I am feeling sick again, nauseous and like I have a fever, but I don't. Everyone has been asking all day if I am preggo, and I'm not. I mean I take the pill every day within an hour of the same time. And I really don't think I'm preggo, but they have me freaked out so I'll probably pee on a stick just to rule it out. Not getting your period makes it really hard to gauge and calm yourself down. I'm going to go try and eat something.
Thanks so much ladies and of course its my dominant hand. I think I slept maybe an hour last night it hurt so bad. Of course DD is enthralled by the splint and keeps trying to grab it! I'm waiting for the dr office to open to hopefully have the surgeon see it, I will scream if I need surgery! Im also on antibiotics so hoping that doesnt bother DD too much and tank my supply, ugh its just a mess. Sorry pity party over!
judyblume14, so shitty about your condo and I hope Lu's rash is nothing serious.
designaddiction, sorry you feel like shit again, hope you feel better and let us know if you POAS!! GL!
Saw the surgeon this afternoon, recommended surgery on frigin Monday! Hand would basically be out of commission like 6 weeks, um ya that can't happen! I'm so screwed, ugh. I guess I didnt need to bend the tip of my finger ever again, lol

OMG that is so awful. What are you going to do, I mean you have to have the surgery right?
Thanks designaddiction and @kait20122014, no I dont have to have it, I should but I'm hoping the only issue with not having it is not being able to bend the tip of my finger and probably arthritis down the road
I think DS reacted to tomatoes over the weekend. I might try giving them one more time to make sure, but they'll probably be going on our list of foods he can't eat.
We're leaving for vacation on Wednesday, and MIL is joining us on Friday. DH is counting down the days, but I'm having a hard time getting excited. I hope we at least get some nice weather!
My cousins 13mo old has been reacting with hives to something but we couldn't pinpoint what it was and it was eggs! They also had an anaphylactic reaction to peanuts. It was so scary but they went in to the allergist and had him tested and he is SEVERELY allergic to peanuts and eggs. Like to the point that he has to have an epi pen ready at all times and if they even suspect he's eaten either of those things they need to inject him and go to the er. This was all thought to be eczema. I saw him for the first time tonight and the testing was early Monday morning. He looks so much better now that they know what is causing the supposed eczema. His skin is nearly clear after a little over 24 hours.
If food allergies are suspected, I would take your lo in. You never know what is actually going on inside that little body and it's always better safe than sorry.
thelittlesrunmylife we did get him tested at 6 months- he has nut, milk, egg, and beef allergies, and we have epipens. They only tested the common allergens/those that tend to cause severe reactions, so the allergist told me to watch for other reactions and avoid foods I thought he reacted to. I'm definitely going to bring this one up at our next appointment though!
I'm glad they figured out your cousin's baby's allergies! It's scary, and it's so hard to see them so uncomfortable (with the eczema/hives) when you don't know why it's happening.
