DD and I just officially got up for the day. We are home since her daycare is closed. I needed the extra sleep for sure. Now I just have to figure out what to do with a semi mobile easily bored 9 month old (well tomorrow she 9 months) all day long.
We are also part of the teething club. It blows big time. K falls asleep easily enough but wakes up screaming every 30 minutes until around midnight. Then we get up every couple of hours.
She is loving going to the daycare at the gym. She really likes interacting with the other kids. I also signed up with a trainer. Now I have no reason not to go workout.
I don't get people who drink black coffee. I want my coffee to taste like dessert.
I love black coffee! I started drinking it black while trying out a sugar free diet. I tried to use sugar and creamer again afterwards and it just tasted gross. It's still a treat though and at pretty much no calories/cup I can have dessert all day

I really should find a gym with a daycare......should be the key word here.
Sorry to all the moms of teething babies..it sucks! apk4 hopefully after this weekend you'll feel better.
My big plans for the weekend is work! But at least this working weekend is at a higher rate so it won't such as much! DH is on baby duty all weekend and my mom thought it'd be easier for him since she's older. I was like "ummmm no it's harder bc she's mobile and standing!"

Now that I am at home with her it provides a nice little break.

Dd has never been in daycare, so I'm scared of putting her into a daycare she's never been in before. I worry she'd be all wigged out and just cry the whole time. But maybe it would be a good introduction into daycare for her, since she'll start in a few months. (Also for me. Mostly I just have attachment issues)
Biting while nursing... check. Cryin randomly after just playing happily... check. Pulling on ears occasionally... check. Didn't want to eat her fruit for lunch... check.

It's definitely different than a normal daycare because all the kids are lumped together and the provider/kid ratio is way less providers. K really likes interacting with other kids though so she seems to enjoy it. In ours they will come and get you if your child is crying for a specified period of time and they can't get them to stop so I know she won't be crying my entire workout.

jellykat2 my daycare has 8 babies and 3 teachers. Ratio was always an important thing to me when looking at daycare options. Have you started shopping around? They have long waiting lists at the good daycare places here so if I were you I'd look around asap!

Could this possibly be teething?
Gosh. It's so hard to tell with these babies. I think some Motrin or Tylenol would be helpful and if she keeps it up you may consider calling the pedi. I'm always nervous when DS has symptoms before a weekend/holiday since the pedi office is closed since and it could be an ear infection. Has she had any eye gunk? Did you take her temp?

No eye gunk and she doesn't feel warm.I'm a worry Warr but also a nurse so I walk the line between jumping to the worst possible conclusion or being like oooookay your fine and don't warrant a trip to the doctor yet.

I just spent an absurd amount of money for fireworks, and I hate fireworks. But I'm really excited to finish making my 4th of July jolly rancher jello shots tonight.

We had a daycare picked out that we loved that was a perfect location for a job I though I might get a few months ago. Now it's not very convenient, so we have to find a new place. I've started scoping them out and hopefully can do a tour soon. I'm hoping we can find a place we love. If not she does still have a spot saved at our original choice, it would just really suck location wise.
DD rolled from one end of the living room to the other last night, but she still refuses to crawl. In other news, she has started trying to take steps when we pull her up to stand.

ZOMG cute babies! Things are crazy at work. I'm gone tomorrow. Off to tehas to visit our friends. Their daughter is two weeks older than DD so we're going to have a lot of fun. I'm pretty excited! DD is always really interested in the babies but my niece who is a month older is always mean mugging her and doesn't really want to play with us. Too bad we're not closer to my bitch apk4
meagpt22 that made me LOL sabby2 That sounds exactly like DD when she's teething. are her gums swollen at all? She was much better when they finally broke through

She won't really let me look. Her bottom gum feels maybe a little swolled. She.did just massively poop that required a bath so maybe it was her tummy? We will see when she wakes up from her nap.
