Sure enough, not a lick of cleaning done here yet. Instead I enjoyed my morning walking around the mall mostly window shopping before my appointment. I'm watching Bones now and debating if I can squeeze in a nap before going to pick up B. Lazy party of one right here!
everydayimshuffling O keeps talking about makeup too! When we were on vacation we shared a bathroom with my brother/sil and O always had to be in there putting on makeup when sil was in there! The only upside was she got really excited about putting on sunscreen if I called it make-up.
In our house sunscreen is known as "shi-shi" according to K and she is like the shi-shi police. If anyone tries to go outside without it she comes running with a tube of it yelling "SHI-SHI!!" I use mineral make up so it all goes on like powder and she demands different powders on different parts on her face. It's hilarious.
I couldn't help crack up at DS. His foot was in the way of the door when he went to close it so of course he started to cry because it hurt. DH asked DS if he wanted to tell the door it was bad. So I heard "bad door" repeated about 15 times from the other side of DS's door. At least that got him to stop crying.

Just found out that we now have PT and OT back to back on Tuesday's. That means we have time for a quick breakfast, throwing on clothes, PT, OT, a quick lunch, nap, and then "homework" until dinner. I'm excited to have Thursday's free, but I'm sure Tuesday's will be exhausting for M.

Our latest game that A loves is that I will sit on the couch and she will climb up and say "kiss on cheek" and kiss my cheek and fall over giggling. Gets back up and says "kiss on nose" and kiss my nose and fall over again. Repeat. I love this sweet girl!

Oh, and I saw my doctor last week who informed me that I've gained 37 pounds in the last 6 months. I'm so frustrated with myself, but I've been exercising every night after M goes to sleep and it's given me so much more energy. When I found out about all of M's things I blamed myself. I thought that if I drank more water, ate more vegetables, or didn't forget to take the prenatal quite so often that maybe M wouldn't be struggling. Obviously that's not the case, but I couldn't help my thought process. Now I realize I need to take care of myself to be the best mom possible.

Hugs!!!! You are and always have been the best mommy M could ever dream of!!!! You will get to where you want to be again!! Working out is an amazing cycle.... It gives you more energy during the day and helps you sleep better at night!
Wow megaroo64 You've met so many J13ers! I'm so jealous! I found you a new siggy->
BA HA HA!! It is crazy! Seriously - 6 months ago I hadn't met anyone!! I never knew how close I lived to workinit and then I just got lucky meeting mcbush and with subliminalrabbit moving in to my hood
Hi! I am so far behind I don't even know where to start. Hugs to people that need them and Yays! where appropriate. I hope everyone is doing well and had a great 4th!
We were at the beach last week and I've never been so happy to be home! It was great to see everyone but that drive is miserable! I fell behind after page 20 of last week, but I hope to catch up!
For those of you who have done sleep solution books, which ones do you recommend?? subliminalrabbit I know you did one. I want something that isn't just letting them cry. DH and I have to get on the same page and I think a book may give us that, cause he is not doing what I thought we had agreed on. So frustrating. Thanks!!
Big hugs beautifultornado you are a fabulous Mom! You are working so hard to take care of M! It's good you are taking care of yourself too. Stress has a way of packing on the pounds, hopefully you can work some of that out and see results for both of you!
Big dilemma in the Peachey house... Thomas bedding or construction bedding? He is obsessed with Thomas lately but loves diggers too... I just can't decide.
I found some construction bedding I love but it is no longer available. (Damn you Pinterest!)
thelorax Our parents wash dishes then put them all away in the wrong places. I wonder if that's worse?
They do that too! I found a salad bowl in with the pots and pans. Understand that one a bit more for some reason. They also microwave everything instead of using the toaster (yuck) and keep putting the bread in the fridge. Boomers!
And my mom doesn't know how to use the dishwasher. She put away dirty dishes and I had to pull them out of the cabinets. She was all, "the machine's clean light was on." Dude go away.

peachey I'm finding that a lot of the character bedding (unless it's PBK) is really thin/scratchy/poorer quality. I'm not saying my kid needs high thread count...how do those two compare in that way
I'm jealous of the meet-ups this week. I shouldn't complain since we're going on vacation in 4 days. ALthough, I'm not looking forward to the pile of email that I'm going to have waiting for me when I return. Especially since I doubt my boss will handle the items that come in on my two projects (even though he should be doing parts of it now).
I'm not sure how much I'll actually be on over the next few days as I have all day meetings the next 2 days. Thursday, I'm booked in meetings from 9:30-4 (and am double booked from 10-11).

My MIL seems to think the dishwasher is magical. She likes to put knives with globs of peanut butter in it and nests the bowls so not even water can get in between them. And then she chooses "light wash." It is not helpful when I come home to a dishwasher full of "clean" greasey dishes that I need to unload and scrape because food is baked on now.
Also how do you come to our house every day while we are gone and water our house plants and just let my poor tomatoes on the deck starve? And she even went i the yard and cut fresh flowers and put them in cases all over our house (which I hate). She seems to only care about pretty things and nothing practical.
Speaking of ILs they really want to be helpful while DH is away but I kind of don't want more people over from dinner time until bedtime most nights. I feel like I'm kind of babysitting them too and I just want to be alone and relax in the evenings. Now my MIL says she wants to bring over stuff on Wednesday for my birthday and "hep me celebrate" and I really just want to get in my jammies and watch Netflix. Something about partying with only your 70-80year old in laws on your birthday sounds far more pathetic than jammies and Netflix.
