Three random facts about you (stolen from my BMB)

I really enjoyed this on May2015, so let's see if anyone will participate. Share three random facts about yourself that maybe most people don't know.

Here's mine:

1. I was an egg donor and have a biological son being raised by two wonderful dads in California.

2. I once rode a bicycle across Oklahoma and Arkansas. I biked 50 miles a day and slept in a tent.

3. I lived in an abandoned shack (No floors, had to patch the roof, no elec./running water of course) in the woods for a little while.

1. I was the first baby born in my county in Kentucky in 1985. My birthday is on the 9th of January!

2. I played on the women's golf team in college for a year as a walk-on. I was just getting back into playing when I got KU.

3. I love my volunteer work. I volunteer locally for a children's charity, a national volunteer for my sorority, our local alumni chapter for my college. Since I only work part time, I love getting to do things I love to help out. Volunteering for my sorority allows me to facilitate at leadership conferences, attend conventions and more so I also get some personal/professional development time as well.

1. I lived in Greece during college, too doing a study abroad trip. I met MH there (he's American). The tree in my avatar is Athena's Tree in front of the Erectheion (it's next to the Parthenon).

2. I have never seen most of the quintessential movies of the 80s and early 90s.

3. I've worked on several archaeological digs (not my current occupation, unfortunately).

3. I worked and lived in England for 6 months. One of the best experiences in my life.

1. I have two degrees in music education, though with the way life worked out, I don't teach anymore and I work in a totally unrelated field.

2. I'm allergic to tree nuts, cantaloupe, and some food dyes.

3. I write and publish erotic romance under a pen name.
