@pugsandwine, just out of curiosity, did you look at the Manava pics? Make a decision on Tahiti?
No! I completely forgot about it!! I'm going to do it on my cell phone right now!
I do think I'm going to do Hawaii instead. I'm afraid of that long plane flight. I've never been on a plane for more than like 7 hours, so combining that with the unknowns of pregnancy - I'd rather stick closer to home. Right now I'm looking at the Four Seasons in Maui for a few days.
We did Hawaii when I was pregnant. Whatever you decide, be sure to get up and walk around during the flight if you can and stay hydrated.

Not sure if this is a FFFC, but I awkwardly told the waitor last night I am pregnant when he was giving me the drinks menu. He was super nice and then gave me a chocolate cake on the house.
We're trying to teach him now. He's good about putting his dirty clothes in the hamper (which as you can see, he enjoys knocking over). I think the key is starting them early and persistence. That said, some kids are just tidier than others, like grown ups.
If the kid takes after me or DH, we are so screwed.
My one little cousin who is about 3 now loves to throw things away. He will make a trash run for you any day or night. Last year at thanksgiving (which is a really big gift holiday in my family, and yes I know this is not normal), he took every scrap of wrapping paper one at a time to the trash can. It was beyond adorable.
Also later that year at another family dinner, at which he was given some cash, he got really crazed on sugar looked out at everyone from a balcony that looks over the living room at my aunt's house and screamed, "I'm gonna throw my money in someone's face and sing the ABCs." He then hurled his cash at the crowd, where it hit my brother's GF in the face, and he marched off screaming the ABCs at the top of his lungs. It was AMAZING.
Oh, and FFC: I don't have to be at work until 5 today. Which means I should be wrangling a toddler all day.
However, I'm exhausted, and the DVR is full. So he went to daycare.
Whatever, he'll need things to tell Dr. Phil when he's older and I've ruined his life.
Too funny. Whenever DS freaks out about random stuff I always tell MH he can tell it to his therapist in 20 years.
He actually loves "school," and he only goes on average one day a week now. So I have no reason to feel guilty (especially considering 6 weeks after his birth I was back to working 60-hour weeks), but I do.
Another confession, I tend to irrationally overcompensate for my guilt. Last September, I had two business trips back to back, and I felt so bad for leaving him while his dad was away at the police academy for training, that I booked a trip to Disney World. (For the second time that year...)

Sometimes it feels good to say it to strangers, especially in this secret keeping phase. I told the lady who cut my hair yesterday. And hey, free cake!

I told a bartender I was pregnant and I got free soda all night. Score!

I know it's way too early, but I'm kind of tempted to bust out the maternity jeans. They're just so damn comfy.
I feel like we are going to be friends. Just from this statement here.
My first thought... my literal first thought... after getting a positive test was "OMG I GET TO WEAR MATERNITY PANTS TO THANKSGIVING AND NO ONE CAN JUDGE ME!"

Exactly.. It's like strangers are the only ones you can tell
Ok, to all who are freaking out about no symptoms, it really doesn't mean anything. You can have a completely healthy pregnancy and not feel a thing. Likewise, you can have a non viable pregnancy and be vomiting every 3 minutes. BREATH guys. You got this shit, I promise.
Trust me, no freaking out here. Happy there is no nausea yet!
My sister didn't find out she was pregnant with my niece until she was 8 months since she had no symptoms and kept bleeding every month. Niece is perfectly healthy!

sdchick, I see your messy kids room and raise you another messy room. (In my defense, she was supposed to be sleeping and somehow did this so quietly that I didn't even know she was awake!)

This is desperately asking for a "Look at all the fucks I give" caption. Beautiful.

FFFC #1 - I am ridiculously obsessed withTeen Mom/2. I DVR the episodes and follow all the girls (and some of the guys) on IG & Facebook. I get way too into their lives! FFFC #2 - I got off of work at noon today. I came home to sleep and don't plan on picking DD up until around 4.

I usually do my school work at night after DS goes to sleep. But since yesterday was Teen Mom 2 premiere, I did my work during his nap so I could watch it without interruption.
FFFC: My parents live 11 hours away and have spent 1 year out of the last year and a half living in China. They didn't even meet DS until he was already a month old.
My H's parents live 1.5 hours away and were there right when he was born and see him regularly.
I FaceTime my mom and dad all the time so they can see their grandson, but I never EVER even think about facetiming my in-laws.
And I am not shy about sharing FaceTime stories with them that DS has had with my parents. I guess I feel like they can't be pissy about it when they see him a couple times a month and my parents hardly ever do.
But in reality I know it irritates my MIL. Oh well.

I thought the same when you intro'd and started to say as much, but then realized I'd probably come across as creepy so I didn't. But, yeah, I like you.
Here's another: I snoop what's been purchased from my Amazon wish list when it's close to a holiday or my birthday. I don't even like keeping a wishlist, but without it my husband is hopeless. Also, my mom has ALS and it's the only way she can shop now since she can only move her eyes and those only a teensy bit.
