So, I'm trying to go through my phone and delete some pics because I have 134,567,854 pics of dd on it and need to clear up some space. It's giving me all the feels going through them all. She's so big now! And she used to be so little!
I do that probably once a month (the feels, but also, I try to upload the pics too.) I use the shutterfly app. My favorite thing about it is it only shows pics I haven't already uploaded so that I don't sit there wondering if I uploaded or not. Then, I just wait for free prints/photo book coupons to order every couple months.
I'm totally exhausted. We had a nice morning at the park (even in the heat). Then kids had naps and after we went shopping. I took our older son into a store and my husband went to another with the baby. We met back up and coming out of the store our toddler tripped, I had his hand so he didn't totally fall but he skinned one knee. I would call it a mild skinning . Well this was his first real boo-boo (he's a really careful kid) and he completely lost it.
We had to make another stop and he refused to walk, refused to sit in a cart. I gave into him and carried him through the store. He is a very big kid and it's tough because he still loves to be carried but he about breaks my back and he's only 2.5!! Came home, he wouldn't leave my lap (we had a very long talk about how everyone gets boo-boos). So much drama . We will see if he's gotten over it by the morning.

Bless his heart! Sounds like time for wine for you! My family friends growing up had this little bunny shaped washcloth that went around a tiny ice pack called the "Boo-boo bunny." If had forgotten all about it, and then the other day DS bonked his head on the tile and was totally hysterical and I pulled an ice pack out of the freezer and wrapped a washcloth around it and called it a boo-boo bunny. He giggled every time I said it. I might have to find one or maybe craft one.

Poor kiddo hopefully he's recovered in the AM and you got some wine and relaxation tonight.
It is an awful virus. Our older son is...how do I put this without sounding like a jerk...very sensitive so he may have taken it harder than other kids. I have a friend who's kid hardly was affected at all so our experience may not be typical.
I recommend planning to give Advil on time for at least a day or 2. There were times we had to do the alternating with Tylenol.
She seemed to do okay today as long as Advil was in her system. But we could definitely tell when it was wearing off. She's got both Advil and Tylenol in her for the night. Hopefully she'll sleep for a while now because it just took two hours to get her out of my arms and into her crib. Holy moly rocking a baby with a fever is warm.

I was totally gifted boo bunnies at my shower. I had never heard of them and had no idea what they were and then my friend was like duh, they're boo boo bunnies. DH reacted the same way as my friend and I felt like a big dummy and so out of the loop lol They are really cute and it's good to know that they work but hopefully I won't have to use them any time soon

That's such a cute idea!
ETA - will you craft me one too?
You know I will! I'm sure there is a Pinterest project **runs off to pinterest**
Update: there are a million Pinterest plans to make boo boo bunnies, with and without adorable google eyes and pompom tails. So obviously we know what I'm doing next weekend.
jellykat2 poor dd! I hope she feels better quickly!
Question for you ladies. During pregnancy, I always had a lot of back pain but never anything that affected my pelvis. Since giving birth, anytime I do any exercise or physical activity, my pubic bone hurts so bad the next day to the point where standing up is hard. Once I'm up and moving the pain goes away. After the bachelorette party last night where we were dancing, I can barely walk today. It's seriously worse than my recovery from childbirth. Anyone else experience anything like this? I did have a traumatic vaginal birth so I don't know if that could have caused anything. Just weird being this far out from delivery and just now starting to affect me.

I had some pelvic pain during pregnancy but I don't seem to have any problems now. Might be worth a call to your doctor just to make sure everything is ok. Maybe they can recommend some straightening exercises.
