I made dh feel really bad yesterday. He decided he couldn't live without the brand new labron James shoes that were 130.00?! Wtf dude we could have purchased the infant carrier! He acts like we have all the time in the world before lo comes. So annoying.

SO was horrible at this when I was pregnant with DD. I made a spreadsheet of all the baby stuff that we needed and the cost, and then I showed him how much it was really going to cost to get everything we needed. He didn't waste money after that
staccajaye and @stargazerlily Thank you for the encouragement/nice words!! Moving is hard! Working on a list definitely helps (it makes me feel like I am being organized when actually my brain is a mess lol).

I will do this bc he is crazy and acts like we're not on a limited budget as it is!

radtechgirl what are pasties? To me they are the things that cover your nipples, probably not something you'd be excited about having for dinner
Pasties with a "short A", not "long A" sound. Also know as hand-pies or sometimes turnovers. Turnovers usually refer to desert style fruit-filled ones, whereas pasties or hand-pies are usually savory. My sister has perfected the shredded chicken pasty, and I just realized i need to bug her to freeze me a few for when this baby comes along.

That chicken pasty sounds phenomenal. I vote that you get the recipe and share with us

Mmm - pasties sound good. I'm working on keeping down my bagel right now but this thread has given me all sorts of delicious ideas for when my stomach behaves!

I'm just sitting here binge-rewatching Lost instead of doing the many productive things I need to. Like, if I were on top of my game with registering and picking out the big things, I could take advantage of the big Target baby sale this week.
Then again, I haven't price-compared to Amazon to see if Target's sale is cheaper. Everything takes too much energy this morning.

Also, the "What have you bought lately?" thread just sent me into full-blown panic mode. The nursery still needs to have the carpeting torn up and replaced, and be painted if we want to. I haven't even thought about furniture yet. The car situation really threw a wrench in everything, but now that we have a working car again I'm ready to hit the ground running.

I've been waiting 30 minutes at the salon to get my hair done. This is the first time I've been to this stylist - who came highly recommended by my mom - so I'm torn between walking out and waiting so my mom isn't pissed with me. Either way, never coming here again.

30 minutes? Thats really bad. I'd be enraged right now. I think the most i've ever had to wait at my salon is 5 minutes.
I just realized one of my BFFs is 7dp5dt. I sooooo badly want to ask her if she's tested. Or when she plans to test. It's been a long road for them, and I am trying to stay out if it....but this 9 dpo tester just doesn't understand waiting!

We put the 3 car seats in the car to test it out. I hated them 3 wide so we are going car shopping! Except it's not as fun because I know what I'm going to get which is a Toyota Sequoia. It's like driving a tank!
