Today was such a good day! We went on an adventure to visit miss things " auntie" it was so great! Then my best friend came over for dinner! I guess I didn't really realize how many amazing people my little family knows and how much we were missing living so far away! I'm feeling incredibly blessed right now
We are forcasted for 30 in of snow and hurricane force winds tonight... Tips on power outages with a baby? We have filled a few jugs of water. We have a camp stove with propane. Candles will be up high out of LOs reach. It used to be a fun adventure pre-baby. Now I'm just kinda freaking out.

I'm realizing that everything was a fun adventure before baby. Now everything is just paranoia and freaking out.

Yeah, ever since having kids, I dread snow days. I would rather be at work than entertain my toddler all day. MOTY? LMK.

It's so true. When we found out we were (literally) the only school that had to work on Sunday, I was just kind of like...I'm not sure if I'm upset about this or not.

Last night Jillian freaked out when I went to nurse her at 2am. She woke up hungry but when I went to lay her down she started kicking me, pushing away and crying. I'd pick her up but it wouldn't stop. Finally DH had to come and get her and I made her a bottle. Weirdest thing ever, this has never happened before.
I'm sort of ready for LO to be done waking up at night. every night at 4ish AM he cries for 5-7minutes. The times we go into his room, he then cries for 20min so we leave him alone and he goes back to sleep. BUT I HATE IT. I feel so bad for him and it's such a loud and angry cry and then total silence all of a sudden. If we go in, it's loud and continuous and angrier cry! What gives??! Rhetorical question. I'm just venting.
J hit a bunch of milestones this weekend! He can go from lying down to sitting, get up on hands and knees (he hasn't figured out the crawling mechanics yet), pull himself up to standing, and can get a spoon pre-loaded with food into his mouth. No wonder he's been fussy in the evenings, that's a lot to process at once.
@lovethatdirtywater or fishbulb if you figure out the web cache thing, can you let me know? All my ticker change posts are gone too
fishbulb did you try the link I posted yesterday? If that doesn't work, I can ask on Parenting, I'll just need one of the urls you're trying to access. I have no idea how to do it myself.

Not yet, I'll give it a try this evening and report back. Thanks for your help!

I want to delete my TB history...and yet I feel kind of nostalgic about it. Weird. But I don't go there anymore & I know from forgetting to close myspace when joining FB that I'll forget how to log in, get locked out & never be able to delete it later...so I should just get it done.
bennieangel, I saw that this morning. So weird. I wonder what I would have to do to have them delete my history. Especially bc I can't post anymore, so I don't even know how I would go about it!

Just out of curiosity how are you still seeing her posts? I see the deleted user but it doesn't show anything when you click her name. Also, the pages to babycap don't show anything either.
Random: my boss texted me last night (kid you not) : what's a fluffer?
So I told her.
She asks: how do you know that.
Me: prior employment.
True story.
Baahhaahhaa I love this. We had a team party at my bosses house on Saturday and we totally talked about a fluffer and had to explain it to some people. My team is very vulgar and x-rated when it comes to conversations.

babycaps - I think there's an email somewhere you can use to contact them? Maybe it was how you phrased your request? Could be no big deal, but I wanted all my stuff deleted...
northernlghts - it shows "deleted user" for the threads she started when they should just be gone / deleted. So though it doesn't say babycaps started the thread it's obvious when the replies are all addressed to her. Make sense?

Can we talk about poop for a minute? Last week DD got a bit of a stomach bug and was throwing up a lot Wednesday night, Thursday she seemed fine & Friday was fine too. Saturday she had 2 massive blowouts and it's pretty much all liquid, same with yesterday, and now she woke up with one not as huge this morning, and a huge one again this afternoon. Is this something to be concerned about? Idk how long I should wait or if it will just work itself out.

I would just wait it out, as long as it's not more than a couple an hour or whatever the guidelines are for diarrhea - babycaps can you chime in with those? Of course, I never fault anyone for calling the nurse line, I'm sure I have some FTM flag next to my name because I call them every time LO is sick. But we're just getting over an ear infection & the antibiotics always do a number on his tummy so we've had lots of huge poop / runny poop / blowouts lately too.

As long as she is peeing every 6 hours, no blood in the diarrhea, and somewhat playful, they will let diarrhea go up to two weeks. Give BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast); no dairy like cheese, (a little yogurt is ok because of the probiotics), no juice.
younglove316, As long as she is eating/drinking and staying hydrated, it should be a virus that will just make its way out. Does she have any other symptoms?

So apparently my washing machine does not like it when I try and wash two sets of sheets at once. I went downstairs to see it had moved slightly and the sheets were still soaking wet because it couldn't spin.
