Oh we have a chair but I never thought of just letting him "rinse off" without washing him off with a rag and soap. Maybe I'll try that a little more often
Maybe try giving him a soapy washcloth and go at it? LO is surprisingly good at washing himself (given very specific instructions), providing he's in the right mood. Better than nothing, right?
I let M do this a lot in the bath, especially because both girls are in there together and E can't stand on her own and is a slippery little thing. So M gets to do it herself, which she loves. And we keep a cup in there too so she can scoop up water and rinse herself. More water ends up on me and the floor than anything but at least I can get E bathed while M is occupied!
I sometimes wonder how my life became what it is. I'm 21, a (special needs) mom, and a wife. My life revolves around therapy sessions, parenting, making sure my husband knows he is a priority. I feel guilty for feeling like I missed out on being a carefree teenager. I mean I am so proud of my family and I love them more then anything, but sometimes I get a little jealous when see what other people my age are doing.
I'm 35 and still get jealous when I see my friends out doing things I don't have time or money for!
After all the drama the other day, every time I see the "ring sling tut" thread, my brain changes it to "ring slut" and I have to retread it 3 times to convince myself that's not what it says.
I keep wondering what ring slings have to do with mummies...

I'm currently nursing Isla. She has a bubble guppies napkin draped over her and I'm eating an italian hero. Yes, i am that hungry,
I refuse to admit the amount of food I've dropped on M's (and B'a, for that matter) head/face while nursing.
Wait - that is something to confess? I always just assumed that was part of nursing and everyone was dropping chips/ice cream/popcorn/brownies on their lovely child's forehead. No? Just me?
Oh, another good one! My endocrinologist asked me if I was eating enough because I told her that my weight loss was probably from cutting out dairy. I told her that I thought I was, but I did NOT tell her that almost all of my replacement calories have been from oreos and cookie butter.
I finished up a small project at like 3, walked to the gas station for a slushy. Ate it while wandering around tourist watching. Basically blew off an hour of work. I would leave early but my clerk would be alone for the last hour so I came back to help her until 5.
Heartburn from a slushy is not cool... (it's probably karma for blowing off work and making fun of tourists in my head).

Omg me too!! And then I keep wondering wtf is wrong with me because I obviously can't read. Haha
So I watch teen mom 2 and when one of the moms was taking her infant son out of the car in the bucket seat I didn't so much judge how angry she was I judged how poorly she installed the base to the bucket seat
Alex and I both said something about that! He first noticed it when she was driving. He was like why is that car seat moving so much?!
