Morning everyone. Kids both slept until 7:30 which was amazing. I am not hungover so that is also amazing. DH is making pancakes and bacon. The snow just started here but we're only supposed to get 3-4 inches so I am sure we will have school tomorrow. We are going to see American Sniper this afternoon! Yay for a date day.
@jap, mind if I ask you a stupid starbucks question? Can the baristas make the drinks hotter? Or is there a set standard you can't change.
I ask because I often want a drink on days I won't be able to drink it right away, so I end up passing because I don't want it to be too cold. If I could get it hotter initially and buy more time, I'd be more inclined to stop.
I didn't want to ask at the actual starbucks and look stupid so I'll just ask here and look dumb.
Ew. I totally didn't think about Bronies and how much they probably love the people-ponies. I am very disturbed for a Sunday morning now.
The first time I heard about equestria girls was in an article about bronies. Basically how it was a terrible idea because all the bronies would be sitting In the theatre having unpure thoughts.

Also good morning everyone. It is currently sleeting here and they are calling for the snow to start soon. This bums me out because we were going to make the 45 minute trek to the nearest Target today but now that's out. We'd have to go over a big mountain to get there so just not worth the risk.

well... scientifically, there's a max temp the liquid can get before it turns to vapor. So if they're already at that point then you're out of luck.

I'm going to keep answering questions not directed to me.
But, yes, you can ask for the drink to be made extra hot. I hear people do it on occasion.

sleepymonkey they work so well. My DD said thank you after I gave her one. She felt soooo much better.
She's only barely 1 so I'm not sure I could even give her an enema. I have heard you can use suppositories on toddlers her age but I'm hesitant to do anything without talking to a doctor. These things always seem to happen on weekends.....

I've heard people order an "extra hot" at Starbucks. What you really should do, though, is get yourself a double walled stainless mug and have them make it in there. Those things keep drinks hot forever.

sleepymonkey This is gross, but try lubricating her butt hole with a tiny bit of Vaseline. Qtip or pinky finger. Sounds uncomfortable poor babe! (And mom.)
We woke up around 7:30, which is sleeping in here. We are going up to my ILs later for my birthday dinner. They always have dinners for whoever's birthday it is. Doing laundry and cleaning. I probably shouldn't have had 2 glasses of wine last night, I'm hurting a bit.
Morning everyone! It was my turn to sleep in today, so I stayed in bed until 8. DH got up with the littlest one at 5:45, after ten minutes of me prodding him and reminding him it was his turn. Just a day of laundry and cleaning around here. Nothing too exciting.

I let the toddler have the last eggs for breakfast. Me and my sad little peanut butter toast. Since we are also out of bananas and berries and milk, I get to go to the store in the snow later.

My almost 3 YO dd walked in on me and dh having sex. This is the THIRD time in just a handful of months. DH is no longer allowed to 'lock' the door because he sucks at it, obv.
I swear when we're trying to sleep, dd comes in like a herd of elephants but she has stealth mode on when THIS happens. Lol
I think DH ignores me in the morning. I needed help with DD this morning, and I had talked to him when I got up, but when I called for him (monitor on, by the bed and all) he didn't come. Grrr.
