I'm thinking about a trip to the old aquarium in Detroit. It's the oldest in the country and pretty small but it's free so I thought it might be something fun to do. I'm dragging my feet about it because I'm just exhausted. My husband's snoring has been so bad in the last month that I'm getting almost no sleep at night. We have a spare bedroom but the bed in there sucks and that room is oddly cold so it's like picking the lesser of two evils, I either roll the dice on the snoring or get lousy sleep on the horrible bed in a cold room. I think I'm going to go buy a new bed for that room today if we don't go to the aquarium.
eyenigh DH has been snoring so much lately too! I've had two sleepless nights this week. And my mom is living with us now so I no longer have the guest room as an option to escape
So now apparently we are getting 15 inches of snow? After saying 3-5 with rain mixed in? So basically no one knows that the hell is going to happen. I don't care as long as we don't lose power but we are close to the water and get killer gusts so my hopes aren't so high.
DH is shooting this morning so it's just DD and I. We are currently watching Tom and Jerry. I dont know what we're doing for the rest of the day but it better include leaving the house because I haven't since Wednesday.
MH just asked if he could just walk Cadence around rather than taking her to the park this afternoon. Why can't he just take her to the park? And I have no idea what "walking her around" actually is. I guess he means in the stroller.....
Well we convinced H to do the aquarium. In the middle of nap time. If we waited til after she woke up we wouldn't have made it before closing. So we have a cranky child.
I think DD is in the middle of the 18 month sleep regression. She is a hot mess and sleeping terribly. It better be over soon because I feel like I'm going to lose my mind.

Headache pt 2 but I powered through and went to Publix, Sams, did a few loads of dishes/laundry, plus vacuumed and Febreezed our couch. I'm embarrassed at how hairy/smelly/stained it's gotten since LO was born. Damn dogs and babies. DH finally did the lawn.
Now I am relaxing with some Dr. Pepper and debating if I should power through more cleaning (despite all that, this place is still wrecked) or watch the newest episode of The Flash.

We just finished grocery shopping. We're definitely getting 2 to 4 inches of snow tonight into tomorrow. Then more snow Monday night into Tuesday, but the models aren't agreeing on how much. One said 3 inches, another said 11 inches, the other two were in between.
And I have the respiratory infection from hell. Blah.

I'm also looking forward to the snow because DS hasn't gotten to wear his snow suit and boots! Even in VT for Christmas we happened to be there on a freak week where it rained the whole time! So long as the temp isn't too brutal we will be outside playing.
I am lying in bed. So lazy. But considering it is 5pm I should probably wake DS since DH clearly has not!

I hate sleep regressions. I hope you can get some sleep soon. Do you think she is getting any teeth in?

We're back home from celebrating with DH's family. Now DH is downstairs while I'm giving myself a mani and pedi in the bathroom. I usually don't take time outs for myself, but this is nice. I could get used to this.
