My husband made bacon last weekend. THEN. He made jalapeño poppers, wrapped them in his maple, bourbon bacon and smoked them. They were magnificent. (And this photo somehow reminded me of them?)

My invite must have got lost in the mail.
Probably.
He made 22 of them. We had 18 people over... His math was wrong.
Is it bad that I left my kid babbling in her crib until she got pissed off and started hollering for me just so that I could continue scrolling through pictures of food?

Nope. If anyone says yes, you just say "glass houses..."
I gave DD some of my French toast last week. She loved it!
I tried pancakes... my kid didn't seem excited. This makes me question if she was switched at birth
We haven't tried pancakes yet but we did try the frozen waffles like you suggested and it was a big hit. She devoured it so fast that I spent the rest of the day searching the living room for bits of dropped waffle. Their weren't any.

Hey lads!! H convinced me to stay home from work although I probably could have dragged myself through the day. I managed to eat the cupcakes last night and today H took me out to breakfast. I too had French toast. OH. M has slept through the night two days in a row. I am convinced he knew his mama needed sleep. We took M to daycare and H is trying to convince me to go to a movie with him even though I'm sick.
jellykat2, I really want the tator tot casserole for dinner now. Thanks Notch. I have made a healthier version of this with ground turkey breast and tons of veggies. It was still pretty good.

Our baby LOVES pancakes. Actually both kids do. The baby ate 4 pancakes last weekend...4 normal size pancakes. He's a beast! I need to try French toast but I'm sure he will love that
