Mine too! Although I have seen ugly ones, I got lucky.
Omg! My mind is blown! smyers2girls I thought your dog was a German shepherd mix (like with a yellow lab or something). Thus, I pictured it being HUGE! Lol! He/she is a cutie!
Ha ha! That is too funny! We do have a yellow lab too though.
maddscientist Apparently cats produce two allergenic proteins located in their dander and their saliva. So while a hairless cat would collect less dander (since it collects on the fur) it would still produce the saliva protein and I'm assuming still produce dander.
I'm allergic to cats, but I'm willing to stick my face in a hairless cat's skin to test it out; in the name of science. I'll let you know if I find one.
Sooooo want to make a joke about you sticking your face in a hairless pussy in the name of science! But I'm too classy.
Lololol I guess I totally walked into that one! Haha!
When I first started working at my vet's office in college, I admit Chihuahuas were waaaaay down on my list of favorite dog breeds. Probably because of Paris and all the other garbage celebs that had them as toys.
But they gradually grew on me and I sort of love them now. Another UO of mine is that, I think I've decided that small dog breeds > large breeds. I'm severely biased though! (still love all dogs)

Growing up I only had/liked big dogs but living in a city a small breed is more convenient. But I'm a firm believer that the way the dog is treated dictates greatly how they act.
We treat her the same as our big dog to be fair. My mother in law has a nippy, yappy, "typical" chihuahua that at 15 still isn't house trained! Not cute! Ours was raised by our boxer (she really does think she is one-lays like one, plays like one, stands like one, etc.) and spent a lot of time at a daycare I worked at. She's super friendly and isn't at all a lap dog. She's so un-chihuahua like that she often changes people's opinion of the breed. When people ask what breed she is I usually say boxer. It's just a more accurate description.
