I had a great time at the game last night! We didn't win, in fact it was a horrendous loss, but we still had a lot of fun. They had 25oz beer cans so I had one of those and nachos for dinner, it was awesome!
Today I have some errands to run, laundry to do and pretty much all of my vacation packing to accomplish. Luckily DH took tomorrow off of work and we're not leaving until 6 or so, which means we also have most of tomorrow to get everything together. I'm so ready to get out of here!

I got my booty out of bed and did 30 day shred, now I'm eating a quick breakfast and trying to decide how to contain DS while I shower. We have our home inspection this morning, and my brother is going to watch DS for me so I don't have to chase a baby around for 3 hours. Then I'm getting lunch with a friend. Should be a good day!

You are such a social butterfly. You've always got lunch dates and networking shindigs and such, it's kind of impressive. You are so good at filling up your day and you never really seem overwhelmed by it. Meanwhile I'm over here like, uh oh, I have to go to the grocery store today AND visit family, how ever will I get it all done lol
This is going to be a crazy week at work. I won't get a lot of PB time I bought donuts to the office for a meeting this morning. I wont touch them, but I want one!! I like the numbers I am seeing on the scale, so its hands off!
kellrr, Good job on the 30DS. I haven't done it since Friday. I need to get my act together. Life has just been super busy!
Also AF showed up after 2 months. At least I know I am not pregnant. :/ Guess I shouldn't have bought 3 boxes of tests. this is my FFWC - I went through three boxes of tests this last month. Crazy I know.
staryb you are so sweet! It does get overwhelming sometimes because I have DS in tow most of the time, but I'm such an extrovert that I get lonely on my 15-minute commute to work. I NEED to be with other people! I gave some pretty good advice to my preg friend yesterday that I think we could all benefit from: do your best to the extent that it is what's best for you. I was taking about working while pregnant, but I think a lot of us give 110% to family obligations, work, the baby, and don't focus on what's best for us (which ultimately makes us better for all those demands.) I told her that I worked 60 hours a week until my last month or so of pregnancy and I still got laid off. I was miserable and felt like I had been robbed of that time to be happy about my baby. That's the end of my deep thoughts.

staryb is right - you are a social butterfly! I'm a major introvert, so I'm the exact opposite. I NEED my time alone. Hope the inspection goes well today!
I maybe need daycare advice. There are two in town that I was interested in. I know all of the rates and general policies of both but we've only toured the one I said I liked last week. The other one has been difficult to get a hold of. Every time I call they say I have to talk to this one specific lady. Last week she was on vacation, yesterday she left early, etc. She was also supposed to call me back but hasn't and the lady that keeps answering when I call has been useless. The one we went to last week was super easy to get info from and they told me to come down for a tour at my convenience. I liked the ladies there and that the babies in the infant room are all right around DD's age. They also have a slightly cheaper day rate, it's only a couple dollars less but it works out to something like $20+/month and over $300/year. I know that doesn't seem like much but considering that I'm going back to work just to pay down debt it is a lot. It's the equivalent of paying off a low balance credit card or paying a car off a month earlier so it's worth taking into consideration. Plus they can take her as little two days/week as opposed to three days minimum at the other one. I'm also thinking that if it's been this difficult just to set up a simple tour will I also have a hard time communicating with them while my kid is there? I don't know.
In any case, part of me feels like I'm just trying to come up with excuses to not bother checking this other daycare out because I really do feel good about the first one already. Then again I also feel like I should at least tour two daycares before making a final decision. But then what if the first one fills our spot while I'm waiting to hear back from the second one, you know?
Sorry if that was just a big jumbled up mess of questions, hopefully it makes enough sense. Ultimately I guess I'm asking if it's OK to just go with the first one without ever seeing the second one and if my concern about the communication issue is justified or if I'm maybe jumping to conclusions?

Good job resisting the donuts! It's tough but so worth it if you're seeing results!!

There aren't a lot of daycare options close to me. I researched several and narrowed it down to 2. When I called one, they had a 15 month waitlist so I didn't bother touring. I toured the second place and likes it. I registered at the second place without touring any place else.
If you like the first place and it sounds like they are also better on paper, I think it is ok to just go with them.
My only cell phone is a work issued one that they also let me use for personal. It's an iPhone 4 that I got when I started 4 years ago. They upgraded everyone's old phones in the fall, but missed me since I was on ML. When I came back to work, I requested a new phone but was denied because of budget cuts.
Well my phone just broke last night. I was I the middle of a call with international customers and the microphone just stopped working. So I finally will get a new phone but now am stuck with a broken one until it arrives. Luckily the internet still works fine so I can probe!

Thanks, I figure I'm probably over thinking this but I just want to be sure I'm making the right decision. I was feeling really good about the whole daycare thing last week and my boss was very open to me going back to full time so it seems like everything is going as planned. I'm just kind of getting cold feet about it now and I'd like to firm things up before I let myself get any more wishy washy about it all.
